If you’ve yet to find a last-minute Halloween costume for this weekend, Ashley Graham has the perfect Y2K-inspired look. On Oct. 27, the model stepped out in Los Angeles dressed in a printed minidress, angel wings, space buns, frosted makeup, and a manicure that deserves a closer look.
Graham’s entire beauty look had the early aughts written all over it — starting with her nails. Her french manicure included the signature white tips, but instead of a solid smile line, the space at the end of each finger had a delicate swirled design that resembled a lace pattern. The tiny detail, though easy to miss at first glance, is the cherry on top of the Halloween ensemble. The handiwork of celebrity hairstylist Justine Marjan, her space buns hairstyle was secured in place with four purple butterfly clips. Celebrity makeup artist Kate Synnott did the star’s makeup, which featured a silver-purple frosted smoky eye accented with tiny crystals and a supermodel lip.
Marjan shared a carousel of images of the star with the caption “y2k angel 🦋👼🏼✨” and Graham shared her own photos and videos from the night with “Voice of an angel 👼🏼” in the caption. As we head into Halloween weekend, there’s no doubt on our minds that more festive beauty looks are in store for us. Ahead, take a closer look at Graham’s angel with a Y2K twist.
