Stacey Solomon says her stretch marks give her ‘joy’ in latest body positive Instagram post

Stacey Solomon, 29, has praised her stretch marks and said they “bring her so much joy” in her latest inspirational Instagram post.

The mum-of-three shared a sweet selfie of her three month old son Rex sleeping on her chest with a few stretch marks on while she smiles and looks up the camera.

Stacey, who has Rex with boyfriend Joe Swash, 37, said her “silver strings” bring her “so much joy” in the caption.

“I know for a fact he wouldn’t settle half as quickly on me if he didn’t have some stretch marks to strum like a guitar every night when he settles for his night sleep,” Stacey said in the caption with a laughing emoji.

She added: “He plays those silver strings until he’s snoring! It brings me so much joy."

She then gave an inspirational message to her followers and added: “There’s so many positives to what the world wants us to see as negatives.”

Known for being open about life as a parent, Stacey’s latest honest social media update received more than 166,000 likes, and 2,300 comments.

Her fans praised the mum in the comments for her uplifting words.

“Every one needs a Stacey Solomon in their life,” one said with a kissing emoji.

“I love your attitude towards everything Stacey but especially how you embrace the things we’ve all been conditioned to hate about ourselves,” another added.

“Wishing the world was more like you,” a third fan commented.

“You’re such a positive role model for women,” a fourth wrote while adding a string of heart emojis.

This comes after Stacey, Rex, Joe and her two sons from previous relationships, Zachary, 11, and Leighton, eight, went on their first family holiday together since Stacey gave birth to Rex in May.

During their trip, Stacey posted a series of photos updating fans on their family trip including an adorable photo of baby Rex wearing a bow tie and a hilarious snap of her squirting sun cream at her suns while on the beach.

Stacey was also recently praised by friend Vicky Pattinson, 31, after she shared a post of herself in a bikini, declaring “cellulite is beautiful” in the caption.

Former Geordie Shore lass Vicky, re-shared the photo on her profile and called Stacey her Woman Crush Wednesday.

Vicky wrote alongside the photo: “Stacey you are beautiful inside and out and proved to me it is possible to be warm, genuine, and kind in an industry that isn’t always easy to be in!”

Amber Davies hits back at Chloe Ferry’s sex claims and brands her ‘manipulative’

Amber Davies has fired back at 'manipulative' Chloe Ferry after the Geordie Shore star accused her of sleeping with Sam Gowland.

The Love Island 2017 winner fired off a statement on Twitter after Chloe's emotional Instagram video in which she claimed to have found incriminating messages on Sam's laptop that were 'proof' he'd had sex with Amber after they split.

But, after Amber's pal denied the claims to Mirror Online last night, Amber herself has taken to Twitter to set the record straight.

"It was someone from a Chloe's side that approached the papers initially about the allegations. I'm saying no more I'm tired of it all!" she tweeted.

In her statement, Amber wrote: "This is the story. A couple of months ago the papers contacted Sam and I's management saying they were running a story that we had slept together. We hadn't. And both parties denied the allegations.

"A couple of weeks ago Sam replied to one of my Instagram stories and I ignored him after the whole drama. He then went on to message me saying he hoped the whole situation hadn't ruined our friendship because it was quite frankly ridiculous."

She added: "It was several months ago when the papers contacted us. It was in fact someone from Chloe's side TRYING TO SELL THIS STORY in the first place. the last story of mine is FACTS. For Chloe to take to her 3m+ followers.. assume, manipulate and take something out of context, EVEN AFTER her and I exchanging messages and me reassuring her that NOTHING HAD HAPPENED. Is shocking."

Sam is yet to comment on Chloe's allegations, other than to accuse her of being a 'compulsive liar' and telling fans she'd staged an Oscar-winning performance in her tear-fuelled Instagram video.

Amber's pal also told us that the Islander has been left devastated by Chloe's public claims.

The insider said: "Chloe got it into her head a few months ago that there was something going on between Sam and Amber.

"She confronted Sam and messaged Amber, both of them told her there was no truth in it.

"Now that Chloe and Sam have split she's lashing out but she knows that nothing went on between Sam and Amber.

"Amber's devastated that Chloe's throwing these false accusations around in public now. Her and Sam are nothing more than friends and never have been more than that."

They added: "Chloe's clearly going through a bad time and it's horrible to watch but she's barking up the wrong tree thinking something happened between Sam and Amber.

"The claims she's making are not true and it’s really sad she’s happy to publicly drag someone's name through the mud like this with something that simply didn't happen."

Bebe Rexha and Other Artists Who Started Out Writing Songs for Other People

There are a lot of different paths to success in the music industry. Some people start out by wowing others with their performing skills right away – whether that is on talent search shows or in front of record label executives.

However, there are many popular artists right now who got their start by simply supporting more famous singers behind the scenes.

In fact, you might be surprised to find out that there is a sizable amount of musicians on the radio whose first initiation into the industry was just writing music for other people. Read on below to learn who they are and how they ended up recording hit songs themselves.

Bebe Rexha

Bebe Rexha began writing songs when she was just eight years old, though she only began taking it seriously as a teenager. She practiced writing songs on computer programs such as Pro Tools, and she even went on to win the “Best Teen Songwriter” award at The Recording Academy’s Grammy Day event.

This led her to begin taking songwriting more seriously and Rexha would travel to Manhattan from Staten Island to take songwriting classes.

In the early 2010s, she was writing hit songs for several popular artists. Some of her notable work includes Eminem and Rihanna’s “The Monster,” Selena Gomez’s “Like a Champion,” and Tinashe’s “All Hands on Deck.”

Rexha released her first solo single in 2014, though she did not gain fame as a singer until 2015 when her collaborations with artists such as G-Eazy and David Guetta became popular.

Charlie Puth

Music has always been a big part of Charlie Puth’s life ever since he was just a kid. He even recorded and sold a Christmas when he was in sixth grade, and as a young adult, he majored in music production and engineering at Berklee College of Music.

Charlie Puth started out on YouTube by writing songs for a few famous YouTubers such as Shane Dawson and Charles Trippy. Then, he went on to write for popular artists such as Pitbull, Bonnie McKee, and Livingston Taylor.

Success for Charlie Puth came in 2015 when he was featured on Wiz Khalifa’s hit song “See You Again.” Puth originally wrote the track for Sam Smith to sing, but he ended up being chosen as the vocalist instead. “See You Again” went on to chart at number one in more than 25 countries and was one of the biggest songs of 2015.

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga is known for being a talented singer and performer. However, she got her start just being a songwriter after she studied songwriting as a college student. She reportedly would write essays in order to improve her songwriting skills.

In the late 2000s, before Lady Gaga found fame herself, she was the brain behind several songs that were sung by popular artists. For example, she wrote music for Britney Spears, New Kids on the Block, Adam Lambert, and Michael Bolton.

In fact, while many people are familiar with Lady Gaga’s hit “Telephone,” she originally wrote the song for Britney Spears’ 2008 album, Circus. The song was rejected by Spears’ team, but that allowed Lady Gaga to record the track later on with Beyonce.

Kesha’s mother is a singer/songwriter, so Kesha actually learned how to write songs from a young age. She later shared that her mother also gave her very valuable advice: “When I was younger, she was always, like, ‘Don’t write fake stuff. People can tell if it’s not real.’ I’ve stuck to that the whole way through.”

When she was 18, Kesha joined Dr. Luke’s label and started writing music for popular artists such as Miley Cyrus, The Veronicas, and Taio Cruz.

Even when Kesha’s own music career picked up in 2009, she could still be found working behind the scenes. She was, for example, a songwriter for Britney Spears’ 2011 hit song, “Till the World Ends.” Kesha later told Digital Spy that she wrote the track with Spears in mind. “I put my brain in Britney Spears land and wrote that whole song for her,” she said.

Bruno Mars

Bruno Mars grew up in a musical family and was introduced to a variety of genres when he was younger. When he decided to pursue a career in music in the early 2000s, though, he had a hard time signing a record deal. Nevertheless, he did land a publishing deal in 2005 and became a songwriter under the guidance of several established producers in the industry.

He began writing music for artists such as Flo Rida, Sugababes, Sean Kingston, and Adam Levine.

Bruno Mars eventually rose to prominence as a singer when he was featured in B.o.B’s “Nothing On You” and Travie McCoy’s “Billionaire.” In 2010, Bruno Mars released his first single, “Just the Way You Are,” which went on to chart at No. 1 in more than 10 countries, ultimately making Bruno Mars the household name that he is today.

‘Chernobyl’ Director Johan Renck On Cultural Authenticity & His Filmmaking Motto: “Make It As Difficult To Film As Humanly Possible”

Johan Renck felt the call of Chernobyl grow stronger as he charged through more of Craig Mazin’s scripts for the five-part limited series. But, ever an apprehensive man, his initial reaction was caveated. “I love this, but I’m not going to do it,” he told himself. The problem? He’d just brought his family home after months shooting The Last Panthers in Eastern Europe, and the idea of a return to the Bloc for the whole family—a wife and three kids—was too much to conceive of.

Still, the itch kept itching. Mazin, along with EPs Jane Featherstone and Carolyn Strauss, came to visit him in New York, to persuade him to sign up. In retrospect, he now believes, he had already made that decision. “I realize maybe they thought they were there to convince me to do it,” he says now. “To me, it was just about getting further ammunition to use on my wife and kids.”

He could see the path of the show, and what he could bring to it. “I started playing the theater of it in my head,” he says. He felt the pathos of Mazin’s telling of the story and saw the responsibility to get it right. He loved that the scripts focused on the human side of the catastrophe and were grounded deeply within characters. “I wanted to rub shoulders with reality, but still with some of the enhancements we can bring to it with filmmaking. I wanted it to be like nothing else.”

But as his excitement grew, he pushed a tricky conversation with his family to the back of his mind. “I’m a bit of an ostrich like that,” he notes. “I like to stick my head in the sand.” The result of going to ground? “It was kind of catastrophic,” he says, with only a subtle hint of humor. “I didn’t know how to tell my wife, so she found out I was doing it by reading an article in the trades. I was like, ‘Oh, I was supposed to tell you.’ It was not good at all.”

Thankfully, his marriage survived—indeed, Renck welcomed a fourth child while in production in Lithuania—and the experience they had in Eastern Europe turned out to be wholly positive for the entire family. “The kids loved it, my wife loved it, it was all good. But yeah, that’s the way it goes.”

For his work on the show, he has been recognized for the first time by the Television Academy, with two Emmy nominations. It’s testament to the complexity of the challenge he faced, navigating a series that turns between action, drama, thriller and, of course, horror. Renck rejects the notion of referencing what has come before. “I’m not a film school person,” he says, “I just sort of taught myself how to do this.” He began in music, and segued into directing when tight budgets demanded that he helm his own music videos. So his approach was to push the authenticity of Mazin’s already meticulously-detailed scripts.

“We could not cheat anything here,” he says of this approach. “Everything had to have cultural authenticity. Growing up in Sweden in the 1970s, to be honest, was not drastically different from the Soviet ’80s. We were a social democratic government with two national TV stations. Our grocery stores had maybe two kinds of cereal, and one type of sausage. There was a resemblance there, so I felt I knew visually what we were going to try to do.”

He loved the variety that the story encompassed. “There was a vignette aspect to it, because of these different stories running side-by-side. All those stories were different animals, but they all pointed back to that exploded power plant. It never feels disjointed.”

What it does feel is big. In Renck’s hands, the scale of the disaster is immediately clear. He would have it no other way. “My motto in filmmaking is to make it as difficult to film as is humanly possible,” he says. “That’s how you make it good. In any artform, one of the things we respond to is this inherent feel that there’s a struggle behind it. Film is cumbersome and horrendous. Dry and Sisyphean work, in so many aspects. You should never take the path of least resistance. Always make it as difficult as possible, and look for the most difficult solutions, because I think that comes through on the other end.”

Jeffrey Epstein Death Ruled a Suicide

The New York City Chief Medical Examiner has determined the cause of socialite sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s jail-cell death as suicide by hanging, the New York Times reports.

Epstein, who was found in his cell, reportedly with a bedsheet noose around his neck and in cardiac arrest on Saturday morning, was declared dead at a local hospital shortly after. The cause of death was slow to be confirmed as the medical examiner weighed evidence of broken bones in Epstein’s neck, which had reportedly raised concerns of a homicide by strangulation.

The official cause of death is unlikely to silence the conspiracy theories that have sprouted after the death of the wealthy Epstein, under indictment for having been at the center of a teen sex ring.

Epstein moved in elite circles and boasted of keeping the secrets of powerful people. His friends and acquaintances ranged from presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton to princes Andrew of England and Mohammad bin Salman of Saudi Arabia. (Only the Duke of York has been implicated in Epstein’s alleged trafficking of teens; Buckingham Palace released a statement this week insisting of the prince: “Any suggestion of impropriety with underage minors is categorically untrue.”)

With a ruling of suicide, the blame for Epstein’s death in federal custody is will blow back on the Department of Justice. The pair of Metropolitan Correctional Center employees who were on watch the night of Epstein’s death — only one of whom was employed as a corrections officer — reportedly fell asleep on the night that he killed himself, and may have falsified records attempting to cover up for their misfeasance. The employees were suspended. The jail’s warden, who approved taking Epstein off of suicide watch 12 days before his death, has been reassigned.

If you or someone you know is struggling with suicidal thoughts, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800-273-TALK (8255). You can also reach out to the Crisis Text Line, a free, 24/7 confidential text messaging service that provides support to people in crisis when they text 741741.

Are Kelly Dodd and Dr. Brian Reagan still together? RHOC star claims she was used

Kelly Dodd debuted her boyfriend, Dr. Brian Reagan during the season premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Their relationship reportedly began shortly before filming started and he decided to appear with Dodd.

There has been plenty of back and forth with this couple. Kelly Dodd and Dr. Brian Reagan appeared to be on and off throughout the summer, but now, it looks like they may be done for good. Despite appearing happy on the show, rumors have circulated for months that there were tense arguments behind closed doors.

According to a recent photo shared by Kelly on Instagram, Dr. Brian Reagan broke up with her. Apparently, she was unaware they were no longer together.

Dodd expressed that she loved him deeply. In the comments, she revealed that she was used. Being one of the stars of The Real Housewives of Orange County can have drawbacks, especially when it comes to dating.

On Dr. Brian Reagan’s Instagram, he confirmed he is no longer dating Kelly Dodd. This post came before what she shared yesterday. He revealed that he will no longer discuss the personal matter on social media and he wishes her the best.

Both Kelly Dodd and Shannon Beador had work done by Dr. Brian Reagan in the past. In the season premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County, his office was filmed. Shannon went in for a followup regarding her face procedure and Kelly was getting some injections. He will likely continue to appear throughout the season as their relationship played out while they were filming.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like many other details about Kelly Dodd and Dr. Brian Reagan will be available. Both appear to have said their piece, though there seems to be conflicting information. Whether they’ll reconcile remains to be seen, but given their ups and downs, it can’t be ruled out.

Sarah Millican: Comedian hits back at fan as she ‘corrects’ them on latest career move

Sarah Millican, 44, revealed the news about her new Radio 4 panel show, Elephant in the Room, on Twitter earlier this month.

She told a fan about the news after they said they want to see more female hosted panel shows.

“Why don’t you listen to Elephant in the Room, my radio 4 panel show with female host and 3 female guests and 1 male guest,” the comedian replied.

In response to her message, another one of her two million Twitter followers quizzed her on why she doesn’t have a TV show.

Sarah Millican

They wrote: “I guess it takes selling out arenas for execs to trust a woman to host a panel show… and even then, it’s on radio.”

Sarah hit back to “correct” the fan, stating she picks what platform her show’s on.

She wrote: “Correction: I choose to do theatres not arenas and also, I want my show to be on the radio not the telly. Thanks.”

The fan replied: “I didn’t mean it as an insult, I’m sorry if it came across that way.

“I’m just disappointed with the lack of female representation on television, and the double standards for men and women. I’m really enjoying Elephant in the Room, and love radio shows.”

Meanwhile, Sarah has been trying out a new skill recently, as she revealed she has more time to cook.

The star uploaded a photo of a pasta dish to her Twitter account and tagged chef, Jamie Oliver, in the message, as she thanked him for teaching her how to cook it.

Sarah wrote: “Hey @jamieoliver, I eventually had time to make the delicious Tuscan Sausage and Tomato pasta dish you taught me on your TV show.

“It’s amazing! Plus I finally used this fancy knife for something other than cutting a Viennetta (pic 2). Hope you’re proud.”

Jamie responded: “Looks delicious, Sarah!!! Big love to you.”

“Big love right back,” Sarah replied. “Now to start working through other recipes. So great to have time to cook. X.”

Sarah, who was born and brought up in South Shields, teased her guest appearance on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown tonight on her Twitter account.

She uploaded a snap of herself sitting beside fellow comedian, Alan Carr, where they were both seen laughing away.

“I’m on 8/10 Cats Does Countdown with @AlanCarr on Channel 4 this Friday at 9pm,” Sarah wrote.

Also on the show, Sean Lock will be joined by Rob Beckett on the opposite team, with Jimmy Carr hosting and Rachel Riley taking on her usual Countdown role.

8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown airs tonight on Channel 4 at 9pm.

Harry Redknapp: ‘It’s frightening’ The Lateish Show guest, 72, addresses ‘crazy’ change

Harry Redknapp has opened up about the footballing world, after starting out as a player for the likes of West Ham and Bournemouth before moving into management. However, the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2018 winner has said the wages in the sport are now “crazy”. The 72-year-old admitted he’d “love to play now” as he poked fun at what some of the stars earn nowadays. Appearing on the latest instalment of The Lateish Show, he also addressed his nephew Frank Lampard moving to Chelsea and him missing the beautiful game.

It’s frightening, the wages have gone crazy

Harry Redknapp

“Of course I miss the Premiership,” Harry started. “I left school at 14, went into football and up until a year ago I’ve never been out.

“It was my life really. I still watch every game on TV.”

Host and comic Mo Gilligan asked: “Your nephew is Frank Lampard, who’s now managing Chelsea. Have you given him any advice? It’s a big job.”

“Nah,” the father of Jamie Redknapp confirmed. “Listen, Frank was a great footballer wasn’t he? What a fantastic player. He’s done everything there is to do in the game as a player.

“He knows what he’s doing, he’ll be fine. But it’s about good players Mo, you need good players.”

Harry went on: “The most important thing to be a successful manager is good players. Without good players you’ve got no chance. I don’t care who you are.”

Talk then turned to players now, with the father-of-two remarking: “I’d love to play now, the wages are incredible now!

“If you can tie your boots up, you get £100,000 a week. He looks good in the kit, we’ll pay him £150,000 a week. It’s frightening, the wages have gone crazy.”

Harry was joined on the chat show by fellow I’m A Celebrity winner Scarlett Moffatt as well as Katherine Ryan and Tom Davis.

He remarked on his time in the jungle: “I kept thinking I’d be home tomorrow, I’d be out of it, cop the money, I’m gone.

“But no, 21 days later, I’m still in there. Get me out of there, I thought that was the idea of it!”

Harry didn’t now until the finale, which saw him triumph, that Scarlett had also taken part in the show.

The 29-year-old won back in 2016, after beating Joel Dommett and Adam Thomas at the end, and went on to host spin off Extra Camp.

Scarlett said: “He just thought I was there at the end of the bridge waving hi!”

Harry replied: “Did you have to go back and give out the trophy to the next winner?” before she told him she had even handed it to him.

The Lateish Show continues tonight at 10pm on Channel 4.
