Britney Spears’ sister Jamie Lynn has got her back in the explosive family feud over conservatorship, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
“Jamie Lynn absolutely thinks that Britney should have control over her estate and supports her sister’s freedom,” said a source.
As fans know, on Wednesday, June 5, Jamie Lynn, 28, shared several photos on her Instagram story of herself and two kids, Ivey, 14 months, and Maddie, 10, hanging out in the backyard of sister Britney’s mansion in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
There were two people clearly absent from the family outing — father Jamie and mother Lynne.
The 66-year-old ailing family patriarch is currently battling in court against Britney and estranged ex-wife Lynne, 64, in an attempt to keep his pop princess daughter under the conservatorship she’s been in since her epic mental breakdown a decade ago.
But after Britney’s most recent breakdown— which sources say she’s blaming on her father — mother Lynne stepped in to convince the courts that Britney no longer needs a conservator.
And according to a Spears family insider, Jamie Lynn has sided with her sister and mother.
“She is really hoping that their mother is able to help prove that Britney is well enough to handle her own estate and neither of them can comprehend what their dad is trying to accomplish right now.”
Added the insider: “Regardless, one thing is certain. Their father’s actions have really driven a wedge in between [himself and the girls] right now.”
