Fans swoon over Eamonn Holmes as he emerges after Covid battle in snap with Ant Middleton

Fans of Eamonn Holmes have swooned over the TV presenter after he emerged from his battle with Covid to train with Ant Middleton.

The 61 year old can be seen posing in a snap with the former SAS: Who Dares Wins star, with the pair smiling and shaking hands.

Eamonn captioned the image: “Ant Middleton on Tour getting some pre programme training in with me in the wilds of #northernireland. Think l might have broken him We're both available for Bouncer duties.”

He added a rolling eyes and smiling emoji. And commenting beneath the picture, Ant added: “Absolute pleasure seeing you mate! Thanks for coming”.

After posting the snap the This Morning star’s fans couldn’t help but comment on his glowing appearance, with one writing: “Eamonn you are looking really good, I would say you are looking [fire emoji] but I like Ruth”.

The fan added a series of crying with laughter emojis, to which Eamonn replied with three shocked face emojis.

Another wrote: “Fit” alongside a love heart emoji before adding: “No! Not him, you Eamonn” with a winking emoji.

A third added: “You are looking so well here, lost lots of weight on your face xxx”.

Another fan commented on Eamonn’s fab teeth and said that the dad of four looked “a lot younger” in the photograph.

Eamonn revealed he had caught Covid last week on Twitter.

Sharing the news with his 1 million followers, he wrote: "Covid finally caught me.

"Thankfully I'm Double jabbed. More than Half way through my isolation and coping with the symptoms and effects well."

The star added that he was unable to attend certain scheduled events as a result of catching Covid-19 as he wrote: "Unfortunately I'm going to be a No Show for some Professional & Personal events.

"Just want to let everyone know why & offer my apologies".

Many of Eamonn's fans were quick to reply in the comments as one person wrote: "Get well soon – hope Ruthie is looking after you!"

Another said: "I am double jabbed but ended up in hospital with covid complications . It effects everyone differently despite the vaccine, I just think if this is how badly it effected me being vaccinated just how bad it would have been without hopefully you will be fine".

Eamonn finished his isolation period on Halloween, with his wife Ruth Langsford taking to Instagram to share the news.
