Jamie Laing's fiancée Sophie Habboo showed off her massive engagement ring for the first time as the pair stepped out on Sunday, 19 December.
Made In Chelsea's Jamie, 33, and his fellow co-star Sophie delightedly announced the news of their engagement on social media on Saturday 18 December.
And 28 year old Sophie couldn't resist flashing the impressive sparkler, which could be worth £40K, while on a low-key outing over the weekend.
Director of Steven Stone jewellers, Maxwell Stone, told OK! of Sophie's ring: "It looks like the centre stone is 2ct oval diamond with diamonds on the shoulders (this is often called shoulder set) for extra sparkle. It is likely to have a retail value of around £35,000 to £40,000."
"Oval stones have actually been the biggest celebrity engagement ring trend of the year," Steven said.
He cited the likes of Kourtney Kardashian, Blake Lively, and Hailey Bieber, who have had an oval engagement stone on a pave band.
Steven continued: "Google Trends reported a hugely exponential increase in "oval engagement ring" searches since Kourtney said "yes" and photos of her $1 million oval diamond graced the pages of her Instagram, so it's no surprise that it's the most popular shape of the year.
"Large stones on skinny pave bands are also extremely popular in 2021. This style really accentuates the centre stone and makes it look even more magnificent."
Jamie shared the exciting news of his engagement to Sophie on Instagram in an adorable video.
Counting down from five to one, Jamie revealed his wife-to-be Sophie in a white cap with the writing 'Mrs Laing-to-be' on top.
Jamie penned as the caption: "I couldn't think of anything better than spending the rest of my life with you @habboosophie," followed by a ring emoji and a love heart emoji.
Sophie also took to Instagram to share the exciting news, posting a snap sitting on Jamie's lap.
"WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you @jamielaing," the blonde beauty penned, followed by heart emojis.
Jamie and Sophie's relationship started in 2019 and was documented on E4's Made In Chelsea.
Fans of the show will know the start of their romance was far from smooth, but they've since gone from strength to strength.
While they were once both regulars on the reality show, both appear to have taken a step back in recent seasons, with Jamie having not featured at all, while Sophie has appeared in fewer episodes than previously.
