Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall raked in a whopping £900,000 in the last year, despite not releasing any music with the band since December 2021.
The incredible earnings are six times that of her former bandmate Jesy Nelson, 31, who earned £140,000 over the past year, after she left the band at the end of 2020 to pursue a solo career.
Jade, 29, and the rest of her Little Mix bandmates have been on a hiatus since December 2021 with Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 31, and Perrie Edwards, 29, welcoming babies a few months earlier.
New financial statements reveal that Jade singer notched up an incredible £867,0703 profit at Jade Amelia, her private firm, which increased the company's net worth to £1,413,333 in the year ending 31 March 2022.
Jesy, however, earned £140,000 in the past year to her firm Jessica Louise Ltd in 2019, leaving her with £338,701, reports the Sun.
She released track Boyz which featured Nicki Minaj this year, and it reached No.4 in the UK charts.
Jesy revealed last week that she is set to release a second single soon, named Cried Out, after being seen filming the music video in Twickenham, London.
As she announced her emotional departure from the band in 2020, Jesy revealed that being in the band had taken a toll on her mental health in a candid statement.
Part of her statement read: “The truth is recently being in the band has really taken a toll on my mental health.
“I find the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard.
“There comes a time in life when we need to reinvest in taking care of ourselves rather than focussing on making other people happy, and I feel like now is the time to being that process.”
Jade, Perrie and Leigh-Anne announced back in December they are taking a break from the band to focus on separate projects, but insisted they were not splitting up.
Despite the trio planning to work on their own solo projects, they are adamant this is not the last we’ve seen of Little Mix, the first group to ever win the X Factor.
Perrie told The Sun: “Honestly, we haven’t even parted ways yet and we’re already talking about when we’re coming back! We’re like: ‘is two years away enough? Two and a bit years?’.”
Jade agreed, she said: “You can’t deny our relationship – whenever anyone comes to watch the show or sees us in interviews or on social media it’s pretty obvious that we can’t actually live without each other.
