Love Island 2022 casts feuds since final – from bullying to Ekin-Su vs Antigoni

The Islanders have left Mallorca, the cameras have been removed from the bedrooms and the pool has been given a deep clean, but the drama from this year’s series is far from over, as the Love Island stars battle it out back home.

Just weeks after they left the villa, this year’s contestants have been having endless spats and fallouts. We’ve seen everything from break-ups to cheating to bullying accusations, and the social media “unfollow” button has never had so much action!

Here we take a look at the biggest ongoing feuds (so far!) and reveal who's claimed what about who – allegedly. Buckle up!

Ekin-Su Vs Antigoni

Temperatures soared in the villa when Greek goddess Antigoni Buxton made a play for Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu’s man Davide Sanclimenti, as she revealed: “With Davide, I’m super comfortable… We really get along. Whatever it would end up being, it would be authentic.”

Davide stayed loyal to Ekin-Su, however Antigoni, 26, reignited the feud as soon as she left the villa, appearing to slam Ekin-Su in interviews.

She told OK! she wished she’d “pursued things with Davide”, adding, “We spent so much time together and could have had a romantic connection.”

Some fans accused Antigoni of being bitter and were quick to warn Ekin-Su, 27, on social media.

One comment, reportedly liked by Ekin-Su, read: “@ekinsuofficial don’t associate with Antigoni she’s been giving salty interviews about you everywhere!”

It’s no coincidence then that Ekin-Su snubbed her rival’s reunion party. Awkward!

Davide Vs George

Ekin-Su might have denied any under-cover antics with Casa Amor bombshell George Tasker, but after watching what really went down in the villa with his own eyes during the reunion show, Davide was not impressed.

According to reports, he unfollowed George on social media as quickly as you can say “I’ve got a text!”

Ahead of the final, George, 23, revealed that he doesn’t have much hope for Ekin-Su and Davide’s romance.

Discussing them on a TikTok Live, he said: “They’ll win and then I’ll break them up at the reunion.”

Coco Vs Summer

They may have once been bombshell besties, but Coco Lodge and Summer Botwe have gone their separate ways quicker than Danica and Billy.

The girls fell out when Coco, 27, described Summer’s love interest and fellow Love Island alum Josh Le Grove as “so fit”, while also suggesting she could have bedded him after they left the villa. Whoa!

Understandably, Summer, 22, was not impressed and the pair quickly unfollowed each other on social media.

But then the row escalated when the former pals came head to head on the reunion show.

When asked if any of the Islanders had dated since leaving the show, Summer jumped in to say: “I know someone who wishes they would have gotten with someone,” appearing to refer to Coco.

Coco then snapped back: “It’s just banter. If you can’t handle a big personality, don’t go on reality TV.”

Summer shot back: “Friends don’t say certain things, hun, but alright.” According to some reports, the row got so heated that Coco walked off set and the scenes had to be cut from the show by producers. Eek!

Coco and Summer Vs Paige

Coco doesn’t just have an axe to grind with Summer, she has unfinished business with fellow islander Paige Thorne too.

Coco took to tiktok to share that she felt Paige, 24, had an “issue with her” during their time in the villa and that Paige had said the boys told her Coco was “a 4/10”.

According to Summer – before she had beef with Coco herself – Paige made the comment during a chat with Gemma. Summer said: “[Paige] was whispering to Gemma, but i could hear this. She said to Gemma, ‘One of the boys said Paige you’re a 12/10, don’t worry Coco is only a 4/10.’ they were just giggling to each other.”

Coco later hit out at Paige online, telling fans: “I never got with Jacques, i just didn’t get her issue with me. Is it because i was another brunette? i don’t know. She didn’t bully me. She just wasn’t welcoming or friendly to begin with at all. I made an effort. I actually tried.”

Paige, over to you!

Tasha and Andrew Vs Jacques

Jacques’ post-villa antics on social media have not just upset Remi but he also seems to have sabotaged his friendship with finalists Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page.

The former rugby player recently came under fire for appearing to mock Tasha, 23, in a private Instagram Story, which was then apparently leaked online. It was claimed Jacques said of Tasha in Davide’s accent: “You’re a liar, an actress, go the f**k out!”

Fans quickly turned on Jacques, claiming that though he may have his own mental health struggles, he isn’t concerned about others, with one saying: “Jacques said he left for his mental health but he’s still gunning for Tasha?? interesting.”

And with that, Tasha and Andrew, 27, then unfollowed Jacques on social media. Tasha also liked a post that Remi shared, which accused Jacques of bullying him during his short stint in the villa.

Remi Vs Luca and Jacques

You must have been living under a rock if you haven’t yet caught wind of the ongoing feud between Remi Lambert and buddies Jacques O’Neill and Luca Bish.

Remi publicly accused the pair of “bullying” him – both on the show and since their exits – after they took part in a joint Instagram Live video where they mocked the bombshell’s rapping skills.

Jacques, 23, can be seen rolling his eyes before saying of Remi’s rapping: “It’s really really good, you should turn pro.” Luca, 23, then adds: “Pro? a pro rapper? he ain’t got… What’s he gonna do? Work in Harrods next year?”

Remi, 22, later slammed their behaviour in a damning social media post, saying: “Everyone lied about the way I was treated in that villa, but this here is an example of what was going on whilst I was in there. Don’t know why they wasn’t kicked out for their behaviour to be honest. It’s not banter, it’s clearly signs of bullying.”

He added: “These guys are not role models or good people. they have not once thought about my mental health."

Jacques subsequently issued a statement online apologising if his behaviour had caused offence and saying: “I genuinely have no bad feelings towards anyone.” he added that he was “taking responsibility for his actions” and had started therapy.
