Megan Barton Hanson gives away free sex toys as UK is placed on lockdown

Megan Barton Hanson is giving away free sex toys in a bid to battle boredom as the country prepares to self isolate.

The 26 year old took to Instagram on Monday night to announce her giveaway after Prime Minister Boris Johnson put the nation on lockdown.

Posting to her 1.8 million followers, she filmed herself announcing the care package she has put together with Ann Summers, and how you can enter the giveaway.

She said in a video: "Hi everyone, what a weird and crazy week this week has been.

"I was speaking to the team at Ann Summers and thinking of ways we can help everyone now they've got more time on their hands.

"Some of us will be spending more time alone but the lucky ones will be spending more time with a partner, that's time we don't usually get.

"So as director of the pleasure positivity project at Ann Summers, we wanted to help the best way we knew how.

"So we've come up with pleasure positive care packages for all of your friends. So all you have to do is nominate a friend who you think deserves one.

"I'm gonna quickly run through what's in the care package. First of all we've got some stunning lace lingerie.

"We've got a Moregasm petite rabbit which is a personal fave, might I add. We've got a fusion toy which can be used with a partner or by yourself.

"Of course lube, I mean, you're gonna need it stuck in these few weeks, and buzz fresh wipes to keep everything clean and hygienic."

The former Love Island star also shared an image of the goodies she is giving away to her followers.

Speaking at a panel hosted by Ann Summers in celebration of International Women's Day earlier this month, Megan said as she discussed her former career as a webcam model: "It made me feel so empowered, and I could choose my own hours. If I wanted to earn £6,000 in a day then I could do it.

"It's an old-fashioned stereotype that if you work in the sex industry that you must be thick and have nothing else going for you. That it's the last resort, but it's really not.

"I was a legal PA for three years, and then I chose to do something different. I just wanted a bit of excitement and more money. I associated money with happiness.
