Kate Middleton, 39, wore a festive green outfit for the message to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. She appeared via video for a special message with her husband, Prince William, 38.
Posting on the KensingtonRoyal Twitter page, the Duke and Duchess spoke in the video message.
The caption read: “Happy St Patrick’s Day! Visit @dfatirl to watch the full message from leaders around the world.”
While St Patrick’s Day celebrations are sure to be very different as the coronavirus pandemic continues, the royals were keen to share a message.
In the clip, Kate and Prince William led world leaders as they shared well wishes for the Irish public holiday.
The royal gave a nod to Irish tradition by wearing a green ensemble.
She wore a bold green tweed blazer which had white stitching throughout.
The emerald item is reportedly from Zara and was on sale for £59.99.
The Duchess of Cambridge’s blazer was buttoned at the waist which created a v-neckline.
Wearing a green outfit to celebrate the national holiday is something Kate has often done over the years.
Her look gave another nod to Ireland as she wore a gold shamrock necklace and earring set.
The Duchess has worn the jewellery items before and the earrings appeared to be the Daniella Draper Gold Mini Cupid Hoops With Baby Shamrock Charms.
The sterling silver earrings have a gold hoop with shamrock charms hanging from each piece.
They were originally on sale for £120 but now appear to be sold out.
Kate matched this with the Daniella Draper Gold Baby Shamrock Necklace.
The gold necklace features a small shamrock charm which hangs from a mid length chain.
The subtle jewel is currently on sale from Daniella Draper for £250.
The Duchess of Cambridge was also spotted wearing the jewellery set as she celebrated St Patrick’s Day in Ireland last year.
The royal wore her long dark brown locks in a side parting and styled into a straight blow-dry.
She stuck with her signature make-up by opting for a subtle look.
The royal highlighted her natural looks with a nude lipstick and slick of blusher.
Stood next to Prince William, the video message appeared to be filmed inside their home.
