The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the Kew Gardens in London, to meet children and hear their ideas for the Duke’s Earthshot Prize initiative. Kate wanted to celebrate planet earth at the environmental event wearing a beautiful green outfit.

The Duchess of Cambridge looked very elegant in a vibrant green coat for their official visit.

She chose an Erdem coat which she wore in 2016 for an outing in New Zealand.

The Erdem ‘Allie’ Wool Crepe Coat was first retailed for £1,765 but then reduced to £882.

The jacket, however, is currently sold out.

The mother-of-three paired the jacket with a lime green jumper and wide-leg black trousers.

She finished the look with a pair of black high heels boots.

Kate wore her usual hairstyle keeping her wavy brunette locks loose around her shoulders.

The Duchess kept her jewellery to a minimum and wore natural makeup with a dash of mascara.

The royal only wore her ballon bleu Cartier steel watch, which she has been seen wearing on numerous occasions.

Prince William was seen wearing a navy suit and a light blue shirt.

The couple were joined by London Mayor Sadiq Khan, among other personalities as they took part in activities with children.

The Duke and Duchess were all smiles as they played with children during the ‘Generation Earthshot’ event.

The initiative is designed to encourage the children to “generate big, bold ideas to repair the planet.”

Many fans took to social media to comment on the Duchess’ fashion choice.

Instagram user Carmen Granja said: “Lovely”

Fan Gil Benson commented: “Such a beauty.
