According to the pillow's description, it "absorbs and dissipates heat through the night".

This works to "maintain an optimal sleep temperature".

At 30 x 40cm, it's ideal for popping in your pillowcase just before you hit the hay.

Impressively, the product has already racked up a number of 5 star reviews.

One customer wrote: "I put it into a pillowcase and use when I wake up too hot, when it warms I put it on the headboard and it cools itself down for when I need it next."

Another commented: "I bought this for my husband and he loves it so much. He can get straight to sleep with it now.

"He says that he can't not use it now because it cools him off so much. He doesn't even put it in the fridge and stays cool all night."

How to stay cool in the heat

The NHS recommends keeping rooms cool by using shades or reflective material outside your windows.

It states: "If this isn't possible, use light-coloured curtains and keep them closed (metallic blinds and dark curtains can make the room hotter)."

To keep your temperature regulated, "have cool baths or showers, and splash yourself with cool water.

"Drink cold drinks regularly, such as water and diluted fruit juice. Avoid excess alcohol, caffeine (tea, coffee and cola) or drinks high in sugar."

Make sure you unplug chargers, as they will produce heat.

You could even pop your bed sheets in a bag in the freezer, so they'll be icy cold when you get in the sack.

Other messages read: "Great during heatwave to allow one to sleep," and: "Even with the heat in London I was able to sleep with this pillow."

The best thing about it? It'll only set you back £3.81.

Definitely worth a go if you're suffering from a lack of shut-eye this summer.
