Just when you thought Aldi couldn’t delight skincare fans further, its bargain Lacura brand goes and launches a K-beauty inspired skincare range with prices starting from just £1.99.

Featuring fruity skin treats like a Pineapple Face Serum and a very millennial sounding Avocado Eye Cream, this limited edition range is set to fly off shelves – much like the retailer’s previous collections.

Those hot on their skincare brands might spot some similarities between this summery Lacura collection and some buys from trending Korean brand Glow Recipe (a big seller on Cult Beauty over here).

Two of the products from the Lacura collection also bear a distinct likeness to those from Laniege’s own skincare offering.

With savings of up to £41 compared to the K beauty originals, there are some excellent bargains to be found in Lacura’s new range. It’s available to preorder now on Aldi’s website, or can be shopped in-store from May 9th.

Baskets at the ready? You’ll want to snap up these buys before they sell out…

Lacura Pineapple Serum, preorder here for £4.99

Pineapple pops up quite a lot on ingredient lists of products promising a brightening effect. This is because it’s famed for its enzymatic qualities, which deliver a light and gentle peeling action.

Glow Recipe sells a similar Pineapple-C Bright Serum for £46 here – £41 more expensive than Aldi’s take.

Lacura Watermelon Face Gel Moisturiser, preorder here for £4.99

Watermelon is traditionally used in Korean skincare for its soothing and inflammation-reducing abilities, but Aldi is making the pink stuff available to the masses with its bargain formula.

If you were to buy Glow Recipe’s Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturiser, £19.50 here, which Aldi notes as a similar product, you’d be spending over £14 more.

Lacura Avocado Bright Eyes Overnight Retinol Mask, preorder here for £4.49

Straight off your toast and onto your eyes (without the crumbs), this formula uses avocado oil as the hero ingredient. It also blends line-smoothing retinol and de-puffing caffeine to give your eyes a serious overnight fix.

Glow Recipe has a similar Avocado Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask for £41 here, which works out as £36.50 more expensive than Lacura’s version.

Lacura H2O Sleep Mask, preorder here for £4.99 from May 16th

You’ll have to hang on a little longer to snap up this sleeping mask as it won’t be available to preorder until May 16th, and buy in stores from May 20th, but it’s worth the wait.

Aldi compares the fast-absorbing gel formula to Laniege’s Water Sleeping Mask, £26 here. Both promise to recharge and hydrate dry and flaky skin.

Lacura Dewy Lip Balm, preorder here for £1.99 from May 16th May

Dewy skin is in, and dewy lips are following suit. This bargain balm comes in a choice of three fruity flavours – grapefruit, berry, or pear – and is being compared by Aldi to Laniege’s pricier Lip Glow Balm, £16 here.
