It wasn't long ago that Love Island winner Amber Davies had sworn off dating to focus on her career.

But despite resisting temptation as advised to her by none other than Dolly Parton, it seems the 23 year old has given in just months later, after confirming she had a new love interest in a series of Instagram snaps.

The musical theatre star posted a picture of herself hugging her new boyfriend after he'd met her family and received their approval, but chose to keep his name a mystery.

It seems the reality star is sticking to her own advice about dating non-famous people following her failed romance with Kem Cetinay, as it appears he is not a celebrity.

But who else has Amber Davies dated before she found her latest love? Let's take a look at her relationship history…

Kem Cetinay

Amber Davies famously met Kem Cetinay on the 2017 series of Love Island with the pair going on to scoop the £50,000 prize between them when they were announced as winners.

But just a few months later and their relationship had come to an end, with the couple announcing their split at the beginning of December.

The couple who were 20 and 21 respectively when they appeared on the show had been discussing wedding plans and starting a family, but it all went south when they started to clash.

Kem, opened up on the real reason behind their split after the pair confirmed in a statement that they were no longer together.

"It was me who called it a day. I couldn’t carry on going on the way we were. We were arguing over silly things and it just didn’t feel right. We slowly realised we were different in some ways and started to clash more. I think we grew apart a bit," Kem told The Dan Wootton Interview podcast.

Kem and Amber insisted they would remain friends, and appear to have put their heartache behind them as they move on with their respective projects.

The seemingly rock-solid couple blamed their split on their "hectic schedules" in their joint announcement.

In a statement to OK! online, Kem and Amber said: "With sadness, we’ve decided to separate. We fell in love in the villa and want to thank all the fans of the show for supporting us. Our schedules made it difficult. We’ll remain good friends."

James Hawkins

Love Island beauty Amber found romance with James Hawkins, months after winning the show with her now ex-boyfriend Kem Cetinay.

But it seems it wasn’t meant to be for the pair, who met through close pal Olivia Attwood’s boyfriend Bradley Dack.

Amber confirmed the pair had split just weeks after going public telling the Sun in June 2018: “That fizzled out. I am single now."

Olly Murs, Perri Kiely and Pete Wicks

When Olly Murs broke up with presenter Melanie Sykes in 2017, he reportedly turned his attention on Amber and sent her a series of messages after they bumped into each other at Essex celeb haunt Sheesh.

Back in early 2018 Pete Wicks and Amber set the rumour mill churning after they were spotted getting cosy at a string of showbiz parties, even sharing a festive kiss over the Christmas period.

But the TOWIE star exclusively told OK! at the time that there was no secret romance: "Amber and I are just friends. I’m completely single and I’m enjoying being single."

Amber was also linked with Diversity dancer and Celebs Go Dating star Perri Kiely in November 2018, when it was rumoured the pair were secretly dating after bonding over a love of dancing, but there was no confirmation from either party.

Sam Thompson

Amber let slip that she nearly dated Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson following her split from Kem Cetinay.

The Love Island star made the confession as she revealed Sam was desperate to take her out on a date after she ended things with Kem in 2017.

Amber revealed: “Sam definitely wanted to take me out on date once.”

Celebs Go Dating star Sam responded by revealing he had asked her out, adding: “We didn’t end up going. Actually, she said yes but we just, we never had the time,” he explained.

Liam Payne

Back in early 2019 Amber met Liam at the Radio 1 Teen Choice Awards and reportedly hit it off, leading to rumours that the pair were dating in secret before he then went on to enjoy a romance with supermodel Naomi Campbell.

Amber opened up to OK! magazine about the rumours insisting nothing happened: "Liam is a genuinely lovely guy and very down to earth considering how successful he is.

"If I messaged him and asked him for advice he would give it to me, but I’m not dating him. Liam is lovely but we’re just friends!"

Mystery man

Amber took to Instagram at the end of September 2020 to share loved-up selfies with her new mystery man.

The dark-haired hunk grinned as he posed for pictures with his reality star girlfriend, as well as another snap with her mum Sue.

It's not known who her new man is as Amber didn't reveal his name or tag him on Instagram but she said along with a black heart and tick emoji: "fam approve"
