EastEnders star Davood Ghadami throws incredible Harry Potter themed birthday party for daughter during lockdown

EastEnders star Davood Ghadami had a magical evening last week, when he threw his daughter Grace a Harry Potter themed sixth birthday party.

The star, who plays Kush Kazemi on the hit BBC soap, transformed the living room of his home to include a wide range of merchandise based on the world created by writer JK Rowling.

As the birthday girl could not have her school mates round, the star created a party for four; himself, wife Isobel, and daughters Grace and Eva.

Each attendee had a teepee, with a mattress inside that had Harry Potter bedsheets, and velvet cushions.

At the end of each bed was a mini table, which had one it an eye mask, slippers, glasses and a lantern, as well as a figurine.

The living room was also decorated with cascading colourful balloons and bunting, as well as pillows of four of the franchise’s main characters: Ron, Hermione, Harry and Ginny.

As for the food, on the table was an amazing spread, including fruits and crudities.

There were also specially made Harry Potter biscuits; some had the Deathly Hallows symbol and others read Platform 9 3/4; the Kings Cross train platform for traveling to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry.

There were also paper plates and napkins with The Boy Who Lived’s face upon them.

Additionally, Grace had a bunting decoration in Gryffindor colours of red and gold, which read “Happy Birthday”.

The young girl was also given a range of presents such as a Hogwarts chest, Quidditch ball set, Triwizard Cup and the Knight Bus.


David captioned the snaps, writing: "Check this!!! How lucky are my little witches!! Such a brilliant idea for parties at home!

"Thanks @tip_top_teepees for going above and beyond! #party#harrypotter#birthdaygirl”.

Davood is very much a family man. Speaking of his wife during an interview with Woman magazine in 2018, he said: “My wife and I know each other inside out and have a genuine understanding about how the other ticks.
