Heinz launches new 2-minute breakfast pot with beans, sausage and scrambled eggs

Calling all baked bean lovers!

You know who you are…

If you love the great British baked bean on your fry up, in a toastie, on a jacket potato and anywhere else you can sneak them then we have some great news.

Heinz, the iconic Beanz brand, has released a new microwavable breakfast pot that includes beans, sausage, spinach and scrambled egg.

Perfect for busy mornings or lunchtimes on the go…

The breakfast pot takes just two minutes and 45 seconds to heat up in the microwave.

Which is great for getting something into hungry stomachs quickly.

The new Heinz Beanz Protein Pots are available at Tesco and Asda – they cost £2.50 for a 230g pot.

That’s a little bigger than the Heinz Snack Pots which contain 200g of beans.

And, the pots aren’t too bad on the waistline either as they are 235 calories per tub with 14.6g of protein.

They’re also high in fibre and low in sugar.

Heinz said that the products is: “perfect for consumers that are short on time but still want to enjoy a delicious and high in protein breakfast or lunchtime option.”

And… more flavours are planned to be released this year.

Emily Wright, junior brand manager at Kraft Heinz, said: “Our all-new Heinz Beanz Protein Pot is the perfect on-the-go breakfast or ideal for those looking for a delicious and quick breakfast or lunch option.

“It’s tasty, convenient, easy to make and high in protein.

Watch this space as we are planning to add more delicious flavours to the range later this year.”
