A home baker has become a TikTok sensation after sharing an incredibly simple way to make cheese and bacon rolls from scratch – including the bread.
Jen Hanlon, from Australia and who posts to TikTok under username @jennnnaaayy, shared the video on February 8 and it has already been seen more than 600,000 times.
She starts by frying some bacon lardons in a pan. As they are cooking away, Jen gets about making the dough.
The cook sieves a cup of self-raising flour into a bowl with 3/4 cup of greek yoghurt and mixes the two ingredients together.
Once it is suitably mixed, Jen kneads the dough onto a floured board, adding you could add herbs and spices at this point.
She then divides the dough into four and places them on a tray lined with baking paper.
The other two ingredients – cheese and cooked bacon – are popped on top before placing in an oven that has been pre-heated to 200C.
After being left to cook for 15-18 minutes, the tasty snacks come out looking absolutely delicious.
And thousands of viewers flooded the comments section to share their thoughts.
“I’m shocked at how easy these are to make,” one viewer wrote.

Another commented: “Omg thank you. I’m not a cook but I’ll get help. I’m lactose intolerant and cheese and bacon rolls used to be my favourite so now I can make them.”
A third gushed: “My day has been made, thank you so much.”
But not everyone was impressed. One fan who tried the recipe said: “I failed this, they were so dense.”
