Morrisons will constantly update what food boxes it has on offer to suit different dietary requirements and celebrate various occasions. It has now added more items to the menu ahead of the summer months.
The supermarket giant already offers boxes full of essential items as well as seasonal boxes such as BBQ and picnic essentials.
The Woodsman Whisky & S’more Box
The latest offering includes whisky, soft drinks and snacks and can be ordered for £30 – shop it here.
The description states: “Our Whisky Cocktail Box is centred around The Woodsman Whisky. The Woodsman uses a mix of hand built oak casks and fired scorched bourbon barrels to give a sweet, satisfying taste. It’s the perfect drink for a summer night.
“The box contains all the ingredients required to make The Woodsman Maple Syrup Old Fashioned, and a refreshing highball, The Woodsman with Ginger Beer.
“You’ll also find ingredients for the perfect S’more and other snacks, ideal for nights around the fire or BBQ this summer.”
The box can be used for customers to treat themselves and others.
Big Night In Box
The box includes essentials for a night spent at home including pizza, garlic bread, chips, chicken goujons, popcorn and chocolate.
The Big Night In box can be ordered online for £25 – shop it here.
Morrisons posted the latest treat on social media with some shoppers praising the idea.
One wrote: “Great idea,” while another added: “Looks lush.”
All boxes come with next day delivery included in the price.
Customers wanting to choose their own groceries can also benefit from speedy delivery as the retailer is partnered with Deliveroo.
Customers can pick from 70 essential items and get delivery in as little as 30 minutes.
The scheme was introduced to help those isolating during the coronavirus pandemic and has rolled out to more stores.
All items on offer cost the same as they would in any Morrisons branch.
Hungry shoppers can pick from essential items such as meat, fruit, vegetables and store cupboard staples.
Morrisons Chief Executive David Potts previously said: “Our partnership with Deliveroo will help us to continue to play our full part in feeding the nation.
“Customers will be able to order essential products from Morrisons biked by Deliveroo to the door in as little as under 30 minutes.
“It’s a great combination of traditional and modern methods and it will provide more vulnerable people with the opportunity to receive their home delivery.”
Vice President of New Business of Deliveroo Ajay Lakhwani added: “With families and vulnerable people in isolation, it is more important than ever that we make sure they have access to the essential household items they need.
“During this worrying period we want to play our role in making sure people have access to a range of items, in particular the vulnerable who cannot leave their homes.”
