Aldi’s beauty dupes are pretty much unparalleled, and it seems the supermarket is now homing in on the interiors market.
The budget store announced a new homewares range this week, and eagle-eyed bargain-hunters have noticed that some of the items look incredibly similar to high-end items.
One coffee table in particular, which features gold legs, and glass and wood tops, has been compared to one made by West Elm.
The coffee table comes in at £64.99, compared to the almost identical one by West Elm at £399.
The new Aldi coffee table is part of a range that includes a matching console and nest of tables, and is available online only from the 15th November.
While we can’t comment on the quality difference between the two items, it’s a good way to get the luxe look for less.
It appears that metallic and marble looks are also big right now, and there are plenty of dupes to be found on the high street.
This white geometric table from Swoon comes in at £399, or you could get a black version that – while not an exact copy – has similar shapes and tones, for just £119 from Asda.
Or, for a more industrial look, this hairpin leg table from Cult Furniture will set you back £169, a saving of over £110 when compared to the £55 price tag on a strikingly similar version from Dunelm.
Even Poundland has entered the market, dropping a range of paints inspired by our current need to make our homes perfect during lockdown.
At just £3 for a tin of paint, it proves that you don’t need to be a big spender to make your home look incredible.
