Tinder user gets rejected by date who’s ‘not ready’ to share charcuterie board

Matching with someone on Tinder doesn’t always come easy but when it happens you know a date is on the cards.

But that certainly wasn’t the case for one woman who was stunned by an excuse a man had given her.

Posting on Twitter, Danielle Betsy shared a screenshot of the conversation she had been having with a man named Jan.

In the exchange, Jan messaged Danielle asking her if she knew what a charcuterie was.

The woman explained that it’s a “board full of meat and cheese and grapes that you have with wine”.

But Jan wasn’t convinced by the explanation and replied by saying he wasn’t ready to share one with her.

He said: “Mmh. I am sorry. I don’t think I am ready for that.”

Baffled by the response, Danielle shared it and joked that “the boys in Germany are different”.

Since she shared it last week, the tweet secured more than 4,000 retweets and 43,000 likes.

One person wrote: “How to separate the men from the boys.”

Another added: “F*** that, I am always down for charcuterie.”

A third commented: “Wow that’s special.”

While a fourth chimed in: “He was not a charcuterie boy, I said later boy…”

And a fifth said: “Not ready for charcuterie? What? How? I’m always ready for charcuterie.”

This comes after a model earned the nickname “Mr Tinder” after becoming the most matched user.

Stefan Pierre-Tomlin, 29, was named the dating app’s most sought-after bachelor back in 2017.

But just last month he revealed how after years of swiping right, he has finally fallen in love.

He met X Factor contestant Natasha Boon in April through a mutual friend on a night out in London.
