MANCHESTER UNITED target Toby Alderweireld has hinted he expects to stay at Tottenham.
Spurs took up their one-year contract option with the Belgium centre-back in January – albeit triggering a £25million release clause.
But Alderweireld insists his focus with Tottenham extends far beyond Saturday's Champions League final with Liverpool in Madrid.
He said: “I have one year left on my contract, so in my head, I will play for Spurs next season.”

MANCHESTER UNITED striker Romelu Lukaku is reportedly willing to take a pay-cut in order to secure a move to Inter Milan.
The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with the Serie A side, with the club to go all out for the Belgian international once they confirm Antonio Conte as their new boss.
Lukaku has failed to win over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer since the Norwegian succeeded Jose Mourinho in December, with Marcus Rashford preferred in a central role.
It has been reported that Inter have offered the Red Devils long-term target Ivan Perisic and £30m for the ex-Everton ace.
But it is believed that Solskjaer will not entertain the offer as he wants nothing to do with the ageing Croatian winger.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, United are holding out for around £62m, with Inter struggling to match their asking price.
They claim that Lukaku travelled to Milan 'a few weeks ago' to meet with members of the Nerazzurri board, where he allegedly agreed to accept lower wages.
It is believed that the Chelsea flop currently takes home £250,000-a-week at Old Trafford.
