AEW confirm Jon Moxley RETURN after ex-WWE star, previously known as Dean Ambrose, underwent rehab for alcohol abuse

ALL ELITE WRESTLING have confirmed that Jon Moxley will return to the company TONIGHT.

The 36-year-old, real name Jonathan Good, bravely revealed on November 2 that he was entering rehab to seek help for issues related to alcohol abuse.

He was last seen on screen October 27, 2021, during AEW Dynamite, defeating Dark Order to advance in the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament.

He was expected to face Orange Cassidy in the semifinals for a chance to compete in the finals against Bryan Danielson on November 13, however, those plans were changed due to his personal battles.

Now AEW have announced that the star will be on Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite as he returns following a three-month absence.

No match was confirmed, which suggests that Moxley will be involved in the show in a non-wrestling capacity.

Very little has been reported on Moxley since he entered rehab, although last week it was announced that he would put his GCW World Title on the line against Homicide at this weekend's The WRLD On GCW 2022 event in New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom.

Moxley made his debut in the ring back in 2004 and has since become an eight-time world champion.

He is also the first person to hold championships in AEW and NJPW simultaneously.

Prior to AEW, Moxley was a WWE star, who went by the name Dean Ambrose, from 2012 to 2019 and was part of the Shield.

When the former WWE champion is not in the ring, he can be found on the big screen and appeared in the 12 Rounds and 3: Lockdown movie.

Since 2017, Moxley has been married to Canadian-American television host and personality, Renee Paquette.

Born September 19, 1985, Paquette, 36, is most famously known from her time with WWE as a commentator, presenter, and interviewer, where she went by the name Renee Young.

The couple started dating in 2013 and then tied the knot four years later in an impromptu Las Vegas ceremony on April 9, 2017.

Throughout the course of their marriage, the couple have welcomed one child together, a daughter, Nora Murphy Good, who is four months old.
