The legendary quarterback blamed a hack for a short-lived Instagram post on his official account that indicated he would be returning to the gridiron in 2020.
“A true champion sticks to his or her calling,” read the post Tuesday evening, since deleted but screen-grabbed by The Post. “I will be coming out of retirement and making my return to play in the NFL for the 2020 season. Stay tuned for more news!”
Favre later told TMZ Sports that his account was hacked.
