Horse racing tips: Templegate NAP to bash the bookies again in his favourite race at Chester on Friday

TEMPLEGATE struck with two of his three big tips at Chester on Thursday.

And he takes on Friday's action confident of bashing the bookies once more.

Scroll down for his ITV racing guide and back any of his horses simply by clicking their odds. Good luck!

FALCON EIGHT (3.15 Chester, nap)

He was the impressive winner of this race 12 months ago and is back with a big chance. He has been running over hurdles this winter and clocked a big personal best when a close third in a Fairyhouse Grade 2 last month. He’s only 5lb higher than last year, has a decent draw and will love the ground.

MUJTABA (2.05 Chester, nb)

He was backed off the boards for the Lincoln and wasn’t disgraced in midfield when looking in need of the run. He looks the type to improve for this step up in distance and won nicely here on his only visit in September.

VIA DOLOROSA (1.50 Market Rasen, treble)

He has his sights lowered by David Pipe after running in races like the Scottish National and Bet365 Gold Cup. He won by 20 lengths the last time he faced this class and sees out this trip well.

1.30

FOOLS RUSH IN scored over course and distance in August and is only 2lb higher in the weights now. He goes on any ground and trainer Hugo Palmer is in good nick.

Boardman won with a bit up his sleeve at Haydock last month. This trip is ideal and he’s a big threat despite a tricky draw.

Boosala was far from disgraced in a Doncaster Listed race on comeback and Ryan Moore has been in form at this meeting.

1.50

VIA DOLOROSA has his sights lowered by David Pipe after running in races like the Scottish National and Bet365 Gold Cup.

He won by 20 lengths the last time he faced this class and sees out this trip well.

Railway Muice was an easy winner over course and distance last month so a 5lb rise in the weights is fair.

Broken Quest is looking for a hat-trick of victories and was convincing at Ludlow 16 days ago.

2.05

MUJTABA was backed off the boards for the Lincoln and wasn’t disgraced in midfield when looking in need of the run.

He looks the type to improve for this step up in distance and won nicely here on his only visit in September.

More rain would boost Barishnikov who loved it soft when scoring over this trip at Pontefract last month.

He’s scored here too and is a danger. Brentford Hope placed in Group contests last season and will be a threat if fit on comeback.

Just Fine is up the weights but could improve as a four-year-old.

2.40

MEGALLAN needed his comeback run in the Earl Of Sefton at Newmarket when he was beaten just a length.

His best efforts have come over this extra furlong and Frankie can steer him home.

Al Aasy is a Group 1 performer at his best and goes well fresh.

His form dipped in the second half of last season and he’s yet to score over shorter than 1m4f which is a worry.

Solid Stone landed a couple of good wins late last term and is best at this distance. His very best would give him a chance.

3.15

FALCON EIGHT was the impressive winner of this race 12 months ago and is back with a big chance.

He has been running over hurdles this winter and clocked a big personal best when a close third in a Fairyhouse Grade 2 last month.

He’s only 5lb higher than last year, has a decent draw and will love the ground.

Cleveland is lightly raced and very interesting going up massively in trip.

The Aidan O’Brien hope could be well ahead of the handicapper if his stamina holds.

Solent Getaway won over two miles here last season and came back with a close-up Epsom third.

He has more to offer in the marathon ranks.

Coltrane has been in form on the all-weather and has plenty of staying power.

3.45

KING’S LYNN can fly from stall one and take this for the Queen. He was consistent last season and was a tight third in the Wokingham at Royal Ascot.

He’s a Listed winner over this minimum trip and goes on any ground.

Blue De Vega landed a 50-1 shock at Newbury on comeback but won fair and square so the veteran can’t be discounted.

Flaming Rib has cracking form over a furlong further but has a good draw and will try to bounce out in front and hold on. He needed his comeback in the Greenham.
