Alan then clarified for fans that they had both already spoken before the interview.

“He confessed before we sat down, ‘I’ve been cooking everyday from the 23rd to the 28th, three meals a day'," said Alan.

Meanwhile, Ainsley recently revealed that fans shout at him following a viral telly moment.

He was in the front room of an awestruck This Morning competition winner, who unexpectedly found Ainsley, shaking his frying pan in front of her while proclaiming "Why, hellooo Jill!" with his trademark enthusiasm.

The incredible telly moment quickly went viral and it's not lost any of its appeal in the four years since, with Ant and Dec using it to introduce footballer Jill Scott in the latest series of I'm A Celebrity.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Ainsley said: "You can't become a meme, other people make you a meme. It just happens.

"It's fantastic you bring a smile to people's faces. It's happened on more than one occasion, you're just driving down the road and people get out the car and do the imaginary waving frying pan and go 'Why hellooo, Jill!' and they jump back in and drive off. Most people get carjacked I get Jill-jacked [laughs]."
