All Star Musicals at Christmas will see six celebrities have top training from West End stars in preparation for a big theatre performance to impress the audience at home. But it isn’t only the viewers they are hoping to get praise from as the panel, made up of Elaine Paige, Samantha Barks and Trevor Dion Nicholas, are going to be analysing their every move. Here is everything you need to know about who is taking part in ITV’s All Star Musicals at Christmas.
Who are the contestants for All Star Musicals at Christmas?
First up is actor and comedian Ben Miller who is best known for writing and starring in the Channel 4 comedy series Armstrong and Miller.
In terms of his acting roles, fans will remember him as the first-ever detective as DI Richard Poole in BBC One’s Death in Paradise.
More recently, he has starred in the ITV drama Professor T and played Lord Featherington in Netflix’s Bridgerton.
“I have new respect for musicals!”, Miller said about taking part in All Star Musicals at Christmas.
“After weeks of training, I am nowhere near ready. In fact, I don’t know what I was thinking.”

Fern Britton caught the nation’s attention when she started hosting Ready Steady Cook in 1994 on BBC One.
She then went on to present This Morning for 10 years alongside host Philip Schofield.
Nowadays, Fern has taken a step back from presenting and focusing her attention on writing books as she is now a Sunday Times best-selling author.
Fern said: “A chance to dress up and dance with a full orchestra! What a Christmas present!”
Presenter Radzi Chinyanganya hosted Mat of the Day Kickabout in 2013 before moving on to children’s show Blue Peter which he was on for six years.

Sadly, Radzi didn’t go too far in the competition as he was eliminated in week three.
He said: “I’m starting as a day one, hour one beginner, so I’m really going to be testing the skills of the fantastic musical coaches.

However, Tyldesley is best known for portraying Eva Price in Coronation Street for seven years.
Gyles Brandreth is this year’s oldest contestant taking part at the age of 73.
He is an actor, writer and former MP who, in recent years, has starred in Celebrity Gogglebox alongside actress and friend Maureen Lipman.
Gyles told ITV: “I can’t sing and I can’t dance, but I can dream!
“And this is a dream come true – being in a number in my favourite musical, My Fair Lady.”
Presenter Anita Rani is well known for hosting BBC One’s Countryfile.
She took part in Strictly Come Dancing back in 2015 and was eliminated from the competition in week 12.
