Tiger King star Carol Baskin has addressed rumours that she's set to appear in I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! 2021.
The Netflix sensation, who appeared on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars earlier this year, has officially ruled herself out of this year’s line-up of famous faces.
She confirmed the news during her latest interview with The Mirror as rumours began to swirl surrounding the possibility of Carol swapping the US for Gwrych Castle.
Passionate vegan Carol emphasised that there was no chance she would take up the challenge to eat the bizarre animal parts during the gross jungle challenges.
She told the publication: “There was an awful lot of chat about people saying I was going to be on a UK show called I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here.
“I strive towards veganism and so there’s like no vegetable that they’re gonna ask me to eat that’s so gross that it’s gonna make people tune in.”
The mum-of-one went on to add that she wouldn’t appear on any of the upcoming British competitions and was baffled why so many people were convinced she would be..
She added: “I don’t know how it became such a huge thing for people to think that it was going to happen.”
When asked whether or not she would pick up her skates and take part in Dancing On Ice, she confessed the most she could do is “skate around in a circle” and wouldn’t be a good fit for the show.
“I doubt seriously after they saw my performance on Dancing with the Stars that anybody is ever going to ask me to dance again,” she explained.
The animal-loving Texan took part in the dance competition in September 2020 and made it through to the third week of the competition after she failed to impress the judges with dance moves.
The Big Cat Lover was partnered up with professional dancer Pasha Pashkov and battled it out for a chance to stay in the competition during Disney week in which the unlucky couple performed to the childhood classic The Lion King.
