This afternoon, multiple outlets confirmed Cassie Randolph filed a restraining order against former Bachelor Colton Underwood. At first, it was unclear why she filed for one or if the judge had approved it, but TMZ and People quickly confirmed it was due to Colton allegedly harassing and stalking her.
According to court records obtained by TMZ, Colton was allegedly stalking Cassie following their breakup, which happened this spring. At one point, Colton allegedly put a tracking device on her car to monitor where she was going and even showed up at her parents’ house in Huntington Beach, California. TMZ wrote, “She claims he takes obsessive walks to her apartment complex and loitered in the alley outside her bedroom window at her parents’ Huntington Beach house at 2 a.m.”
Colton reportedly took this scary behavior even further and began sending her harassing text messages, accusing her of hanging out with her ex-boyfriend. The outlet went on to add, “She alleges Colton also sent anonymous text messages to her and to himself pretending to also be a victim of the anonymous stalker. Cassie claims Colton later admitted to sending the messages and planting the tracking device.”
Neither Cassie nor Colton have addressed these recent reports just yet. If this is all true, it is so upsetting and incredibly inappropriate of Colton. Hopefully, Cassie is safe and surrounded by people she trusts right now.
