EASTENDERS stars Shona McGarty and Maddy Hill have wowed fans as they hit the red carpet for the National Television Awards.
But viewers of the BBC One soap have been left open mouthed by the pair as they look NOTHING like their on-screen characters.
Shona, 29, looked stunning as she stepped out in a floor-length green dress with a sexy slit at the knee, showing off her toned legs.
The ensemble complimented her dark red hair, which had been styled into beachy waves and tucked neatly behind her ears.
The actress, who plays Whitney Dean in the BBC soap, completed her look with silver sparkling earrings and strappy black high heels.
She looked a world away from character Whitney, who is normally seen in dark-coloured casual clothes, from jeans to baggy jumpers.
Meanwhile, her co-star Maddy Hill also stunned the crowd as she opted for a knee-length oriental-style satin dress with gold embellishment.
The blue and green number was complimented with snakeskin high heels and an usual bag that looked to be made out of stone.
The star, who portrays Nancy Carter in the much-loved TV show, added gold earrings and pulled her blonde locks into a stylish up-do.
Maddy's character Nancy is normally seen wearing hoodies and sweats in the show, wearing her long locks down her shoulders and back.
Also gracing the red carpet tonight was This Morning host Holly Willoughby, who opted for a stunning grey floor-length dress.
The 40-year-old turned heads at the star-studded event wearing the plunging gown, which showed off her curves in all the right places.
The off-the-shoulder ensemble showed her incredible figure and ample bust, pulling her tightly around the waist with a silver belt.
Holly paired her look with sparkling silver shoes and a clutch bag, as well as simple pearl-drop earrings, a bracelet and her wedding ring.
This year, TV sweetheart Holly has been nominated for the best presenter prize, in the same category as Piers Morgan and Ant & Dec.
The presenting duo normally sweep the floor at the ceremony, having won an impressive 36 National Television Awards throughout their career.
Three of their shows are up for silverware too: Saturday Night Takeaway, I’m A Celebrity and Britain’s Got Talent, which they front alongside judge Alesha Dixon.
Piers Morgan is shortlisted despite storming off Good Morning Britain in an on-air row over Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s sensational interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Joel Dommett will make his debut hosting the bash at London’s O2 Arena on September 9, announcing awards for shows encompassing drama to comedy.
Meanwhile, EastEnders is up against the other much-loved soaps – Emmerdale, Coronation Street and Hollyoaks to the coveted Soap award.
