Next week marks a big week in EastEnders as the truth about Alyssa’s birth dad finally comes out for the Albert Square residents.
After Zack Hudson (James Farrar) and Martin Fowler (James Bye) found the little girl dumped on their doorstep along with a note, they have both taken DNA tests to find out which of them she belongs to.
But as the pair take it in turns to look after Alyssa, a mystery girl is keeping a close eye on them both.
Later in the week, after the pair receive the paternity test results, Sharon (Letitia Dean) and Zack eventually catch up with the girl in question and she introduces herself to them – she’s Alyssa’s mum, Jada (Kelsey Calladine-Smith).
But what is she doing in Albert Square? Zack makes it his mission to find out as he gets her to open up to him in the cafe.
Elsewhere, Callum (Tony Clay) tells Ben (Max Bowden) and Jay (Jamie Borthwick) about the upcoming Prince Albert’s gay icon event.
As they are chatting, Callum catches Jay mouthing something to Ben. Callum probes further and is left feeling insecure when Ben opens up about his past numerous partners.
Later in the week, Ben convinces Callum to head to the event alone. Whilst there, a flirty stranger approaches him and hands him his number. How will Ben react when he finds out?
Meanwhile, Kat (Jessie Wallace) is at her wits end when it comes to Stacey (Lacey Turner) and Jean (Gillian Wright) arguing over Eve (Heather Peace) and she threatens to move in with Phil (Steve McFadden) unless it stops.
Trying to extend an olive branch and smooth things over with Jean, Stacey arranges a family day out with the kids.
However, the mother-and-daughter end up clashing and she runs off to the café for some respite.
Also next week, Gray (Toby-Alexander Smith) piles on the pressure on Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams) that they should tell the kids their news.
She declines, saying she needs to tell Denise (Diane Parish) first. But when Denise hears, she has some home truths for Chelsea.
Plus, Janine (Charlie Brooks) hatches a plan for her and Liam (James Forde) to take advantage of Tiffany’s (Maisie Smith) business – but will he betray his sister?
And Mick (Danny Dyer) gets Nancy (Maddy Hill) to open up about her jealousy towards Frankie (Rose Ayling-Ellis) following recent events.
