Emmerdales Aaron makes emotional goodbye to Liv as he exits after Bens murder

It’s set to be another dramatic week in the village this week as some of Emmerdale residents are faced with a tough decision to make.

This week’s instalment of the popular ITV soap spoilers has revealed that Aaron’s inner battle with his emotions will start to affect his everyday life as Liv’s court date looms ever closer. Will he be able to support her or will he leave Liv to face her fate alone?

But he’s not the only star who will struggle to come to terms with their inner demons as Manpreet starts to unravel Meena’s murderous ways.

And things get sticky in her love life as she decides to put the moves on Charles, but will her attempts at romance work in her favour or will it turn Charles off for good?

Aaron has been struggling with his relationship with Liv for some time, but this week really puts their romance to the test.

With the help of his close friend Chas, Aaron arrives outside the court at the same time as Belle, Sam and Vinny ahead of the all-important trial.

Unable to take the added attention from others, he takes some much-needed alone time to compose himself before facing Liv.

Back at the Woolpack, Chas shares her concerns about Aaron’s mental wellbeing to Cain as she fears he may do a runner during the trial.

As witnesses prepare to enter the courthouse, Aaron pays Liv a private visit to share his fears with her in person.

He tells her how he worries that they bring each other down and confesses how he doesn’t have the strength to keep supporting her any more.

Despite her pleas to reconsider, Liv fears that this could be his last goodbye before her case is put before the judge.

Can a heartbroken Aaron stand firm and leave Liv to face the hard hand of the law on her own or will he cave and continue to support her regardless?

Outside of the courtroom, Manpreet is also struggling with issues of her own when she discovers Meena has been up to her old tricks again by manipulating others for her own pleasure.

Her sister is shocked to learn from Ethan that Meena urged him not to contact his mum which first warned her that Meena is playing games with his happiness.

When she questions her sister on it, Meena says she put Ethan off meeting his mum to protect Manpreet over the fictitious texts they sent him.

Furious with her meddling, Manpreet argues that they can’t deny Ethan of a relationship with his mother but Meena quickly puts an end to the conversation.

In an effort to help Ethan, Manpreet persuades him to try again with Esme despite her own misgivings.

But her problems didn’t end there as her love life took a hit too as she attempted to rekindle her building chemistry with Charles.

Later on in the week, Manpreet and Charles reminisce on happies times until she leans in for a kiss.

Unfortunately, her advances were not welcomed as Charles automatically pulled away and apologises as he informs her that now isn’t the best time to start a relationship.

Knowing that he’s right, Manpreet quickly pulled away and attempted to make a swift exit filled with embarrassment.

Before she left, Charles calls her back and reassures her that he feels the same way as he admits that he has never stopped loving her.

The pair agree to keep no more secrets from each other if they get together in the future, but will Manpreet feel the need to tell the truth to the man she loves?
