Howie Mandel rushed to hospital after fainting at LA Starbucks & AGT judge 'thinks he fell due to low blood sugar'

HOWIE Mandel was rushed to the hospital after fainting at a Starbucks in Los Angeles.

The America's Got Talent judge thinks the incident was due to low blood sugar.

Sources told TMZ that Howie was at a Starbucks in Woodland Hills, CA with his wife and friends when he suddenly passed out on Wednesday.

The TV personality fell over and was then laid out on a cement bench.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the incident before Howie was rushed to a hospital in Tarzana.

According to witnesses, the AGT judge was able to sit up by the time the LA Fire Department arrived.

Howie is believed to be a regular as the Starbucks locations, as sources told TMZ that customers at the coffee shop knew him and were surprised to see him faint.

It was also reported that it's believed Howie fainted due to low blood sugar.

Doctors are currently running tests on the star at the hospital.


Shortly after news broke that Howie collapsed, fans rushed to Twitter to express their well wishes for the TV personality.

One fan wrote: "We love you Howie Mandel. Get well soon."

Another added: "Hopefully its not too serious. Speedy recovery."


Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, Simon Cowell and Howie make up the panel as the hosts of the latest season of AGT.

Howie makes $70,000 per episode of AGT, according to Talent Recap.

After being on the show for a decade, the longtime judge's net worth is estimated to be a whopping $40million.

It is expected that Sofia or Simon take the top spot as highest-paid judge, as their net worth is respectively around $180million and $600million.

Howie's most famous gig outside of AGT was hosting Deal or No Deal.

He appeared on AGT for the first time in season five, while the most recent season season marked his eleventh year behind the infamous X's.

Howie married wife Terry Mandel in 1980.

The couple share three children: Jackie, 37, Alex, 32, and Riley, 29.
