I Hate Suzie will begin on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV this Thursday (August 27) as it follows an actor whose world is turned upside down when her phone is hacked. The new show features an all-star cast and Express.co.uk has everything you need to know about them.

Who is in the cast of I Hate Suzie?

Suzie Pickles – Billie Piper

Billie Piper leads the cast as Suzie Pickles who is an actor recently cast as a Disney princess.

However, her world quickly comes crashing down as images of her in an intimate setting are released after her phone is hacked.

Speaking about the part in a recent Q&A Piper told Express.co.uk and other media: “The hack was a great way of exposing a woman.

“This awful, incriminating thing happens but it sort of helps her find herself ultimately.”

Piper is well-known as a singer and actor and has previously won an Olivier Award for her work.

Although, viewers will probably know her best from television roles on Secret Diary of a Call Girl and Doctor Who.

Naomi Jones – Leila Farzad

Suzie’s manager and best friend Naomi Jones is played by Leila Farzad in the new show.

This is one of Farzad’s breakout roles after she landed the part thanks to an impressive audition process.

She has previously starred in television series like Innocent, Cuffs and Twenty Twelve.

Speaking about her role, she said: “She’s fiercely bright like Lucy [Prebble, writer] and unflappable and in charge but also vulnerable and human and makes mistakes.

“So it was a challenge and hopefully quite a recognisable person to see on screen and a foil to Suzie in a way.”

Cob Betterton – Daniel Ings

Daniel Ings plays Suzie’s husband Cob Betterton who is not too pleased when the intimate images of his wife emerge with another man.

Viewers will recognise Ings best as Luke Curran in the series Lovesick but he has also appeared in The Crown, Black Mirror and Sex Education.

He said of Cob: “He is a very repressed man. He’s in this marriage which he needs, which he relies on and I think he’s managed to sort of convince himself that he’s in charge of the situation.

“It seems at first that he’s a quite doting, caring husband and I guess as the series goes on you realise that’s not the whole story.”
