I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will be missing from ITV’s schedule this weekend as the series has been forced to cancel both Saturday and Sunday night’s shows. The production has suffered “technical difficulties” as a result of the weather conditions in the area.

I’m A Celebrity have released an official statement explaining why this weekend’s live shows will be unable to go ahead.

The statement reads: “Owing to technical difficulties caused by extreme weather conditions in the area, there will be no new episodes of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! this weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

“I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! will be replaced tonight and tomorrow night in the ITV schedules by compilation shows (voiced by Ant & Dec) featuring best moments from previous series.”

ITV confirmed the celebrity cast members are safe and currently still within the Castle.

However the programme’s production base sustained significant damage during Storm Arwen.

As a result of the damage, only essential crew are currently on site and I’m A Celebrity have said: “The wellbeing of our cast and crew is of utmost priority to us”.
