Juliet dies in Hollyoaks explosion tragedy after Peri proposes?

It’s not looking good for Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw) in Hollyoaks, who is now fighting for her life in the wake of a huge explosion at Salon De Thé.

Juliet, as viewers know, had been keen to wed Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell), and thus she set a plan in motion to propose.

Peri, however, got wind of her girlfriend’s proposal plot from Yazz Maalik (Haiesha Mistry), and subsequently confided in her mum Leela (Kirsty Leigh Porter) that she wasn’t ready to tie the knot.

Afterwards, she made her way to the Salon to tell Juliet such a thing. Juliet, however, picked up on her lover’s tone, and claimed that she wasn’t intending on proposing anyway.

The couple’s attention, however, was soon elsewhere, as an explosion ripped through the patisserie, leaving their lives in danger.

Juliet attempted to usher Peri to safety, but the ground below her gave way, and she fell into the fiery depths below.

The teen was subsequently rushed to hospital, and Peri refused to leave her side, as she told her how much she means to her.

Peri then removed the ring from Jules’ finger, and – realising she wanted to spend the rest of her life with her – she proposed.

Juliet, however, lost consciousness, and the monitor beside her started beeping, indicating that she needed urgent medical attention.

‘Help!’, screamed Peri, desperately, hoping that her girlfriend would be okay.

Will Juliet be live to answer Peri’s big question? Or will she die?

Hollyoaks continues Wednesday January 12 at 7pm on E4.
