Kate Garraway presented ITV’s Good Morning Britain on Tuesday morning alongside Charlotte Hawkins. The pair discussed the nominations for the upcoming National Television Awards, revealing Kate’s documentary Finding Derek has been shortlisted in the Authored Documentary category. Chatting about the awards ceremony, Kate suggested it would be “wonderful” to be able to take her husband Derek to the event.
The ITV star allowed cameras to document her story as her husband battled Covid and her family adjust to a new way of life.
Speaking about the award nomination, Kate remarked: “Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Derek was well enough to come.
“Wouldn’t it be wonderful? I was trying to work out the dates and see the logistics of how that might work.”
