Joanna Chimonides is coupled up with Michael Griffiths after a shock recoupling that left Amber Gill single when she returned from Casa Amor.
Michael has since cleared the air with Amber and now a few of the girls have raised their suspicions Michael isn’t being completely honest about his feelings.
In a teaser clip for tonight’s episode Joanna decides to find out how the former couple really feel.
Discussing an earlier conversation with Michael, Amber reveals: “Everybody came over to me and said they see something, they see him staring at us and we had such a good conversation last night but it’s hard for me to go, no.
“Do you think I would have been happy like that if he was like ‘I’m just going to draw a line under everything’ it wouldn’t have been like that.
“Never say never, cause you can’t,” she teases.
Meanwhile Joanna confronts Michael over what he’s been saying to his former partner.
“Either one of you is taking the p***,” she remarks to which Michael questions: “And you really think it’s me?”
“I don’t know you well enough to say ‘You’re not going to take the piss’. Do you still have feelings for her?” she asks.
Despite Michael replying “No” Joanna looks unconvinced before Michael adds: “Not like that. As a friend, yes I do because I don’t want to see her hurt.”

“I don’t speak to the girl. I walk past and ask if she is alright,” he adds.
The next morning Joanna discusses the situation with the girls as they’re getting ready.
Talking about the previous night, Amy asks: “How did you chat go last night?” to which Joanna replies: “I just don’t know what’s the truth and what’s not the truth.”
Jumping in, Molly-Mae Hague says: “He’s not being honest with you because if he had said to Amber yesterday, ‘it’s definitely done’ why would Amber even contemplate taking him on a date?”
Later that day Joanna decides enough is enough and pulls Michael and Amber together for a chat to clear the air.
In the beach hut she explains: “I was hearing from the girls that Michael didn’t close things off, I was hearing from Michael that he did close things off.
“So I was like ‘You know what? What a perfect way to have this chat and have this out, is to bring them both together and confront the situation.”
Will Michael reveal he still has feelings for Amber or will he convince Joanna he only has eyes for her?
Meanwhile viewers believes Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins’ romance is staged.
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV.
