Love Island drops surprise twist during launch as two new islanders enter villa

Love Island 2019 kicks off with a bang on Monday night, with spoilers revealing the islanders are in for a shock on the ITV2 series launch.

As the new contestants including Amber Gill, Lucie Donlan, Anton Danyluk, Sherif Lanre and Yewande Biala couple up, there’s one more twist in store.

The evening draws to a close, but it’s not over yet as two new hunks walk into the villa, and they’re familiar faces.

Curtis Pritchard, the brother of Strictly Come Dancing ’s AJ Pritchard, and Tommy Fury, sibling to boxer Tyson fury, make their big entrance just as some decisions are being made.

After being paired up, there could be two lads left alone if the girls like what they see in the newbies.

It comes as Amber gets a famous text reading: “Islanders, it’s time for the real games to begin. Please welcome your new arrivals. #DoubleTrouble #BoxFresh #HotToFoxtrot”.

Up until that moment, the group have no idea they’re about to be joined by two more islanders.

Lucie adds to the Love Island lingo, as she shares her approval of the two boys.

She says in the Beach Hut: “It’s been such a full-on day. There have been bevs coming in everywhere and then two guys come in… who are also bevs!”

The boys however seem threatened, with original islander Michael not sure what to think.

He says: “Nobody was expecting that! Like nobody at all.”

Has he not watched the show?!

Well it’s clear the games have fully begun, but viewers will have to tune in to see who couples up, and whether the bombshells rock the boat.

Love Island launches Monday night at 9pm on ITV2.
