Professional dancer Neil Jones and his dance partner Nina Wadia were eliminated in week two from Strictly Come Dancing. The pair’s exit sparked uproar from fans as they believed Nina was “better” than Katie McGlynn, who was eliminated the following week. However, in a behind-the-scenes clip, Neil confessed he found it difficult to watch Nina dance during rehearsals.
Taking to its official Twitter account, Strictly Come Dancing released a three-minute clip, giving fans a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes.
They captioned the clip, “What happens in the training room stays in the training room… or maybe not? “
During rehearsals, Neil instructed Nina to perform a set of steps again.
“Do it all again from the promenade run,” the professional dancer explained.
As Nina began to walk away, she mimicked Neil sarcastically.
He replied: “This is hard for me to watch you do this over and over again.
“Not knowing if you’ll ever get it right.”
As the former soap star screamed, Neil shouted: “Go!”
Elsewhere in the clip, BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker also seemed to struggle while training with dance partner Nadiya Byckhova.
As she demonstrated the dance move, she instructed: “Yeah, not long. It should become short.”
As Dan put his hand to his face, he replied: “I just think we might have different bodies.”
Last weekend, Loose Women panellist Judi Love and her partner Graziano di Prima were eliminated from the competition.
The pair were sent home after landing in the bottom two with Adam Peaty and Katya Jones.
The Olympian and professional dancer performed the Viennese Waltz to Moonlight Sonata by Ludwig Van Beethoven.
While Judi and Graziano performed the Cha Cha to Physical by Olivia Newton-John.
However, when it came to making a decision, all four judges decided to save Adam and Katya.
This weekend, the remaining celebrities will battle it out in a bid to impress the judges.
At the moment, according to the bookmakers, Adam and Katya are at risk of being sent home.
Dan follows closely behind Adam with odds of 5/2, while Rhys Stephenson sits at 7/2.
Jessica O’Reilly of Ladbrokes said: “Unfortunately for Adam, it looks like Strictly is a medal too far for him and he could dive out of the competition this weekend.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday at 6.45pm on BBC One.
