IT used to be All About You but Tom Fletcher wants to make it all about us by plotting a duet with his I’m A Celebrity-winning wife Giovanna.
The McFly frontman and queen of the castle have been together since meeting in theatre school when they were 13.
While they have successfully co-written books as a couple they are now considering a more vocal way of working together.
Tom revealed: “The band has always been my priority. But we love singing with each other. We’ve done YouTube videos before for fun, so who knows?
“We have talked about duetting before. It’s just time. We’d have to find something that excites us both.”
The devoted duo release the final book in their Eve Of Man trilogy in April and have a captive audience at home to practise on — their three sons.
Buzz, Buddy and Max are already showing signs of becoming the new Jonas Brothers if Tom’s Insta videos showing them playing guitar and drums and singing are anything to go by.
Tom said: “Gi and I have grown up singing together — music is a big part of our lives. We’re always singing when we’re at home with the kids.”
Giovanna has already shown off her powerful voice singing on CBeebies show The Baby Club, which she co-hosts.
Since her I’m A Celeb win she has been inundated with work offers.
At the same time, McFly are soaring again after their sixth album Young Dumb Thrills reached No 2 in the charts in November.
The band have a tour in May if restrictions are lifted and have launched their own subscription channel, McFly Total Access.
While drummer Harry Judd won Strictly, bassist Dougie Poynter and McBusted pal Matt Willis are both I’m A Celeb champs and guitarist Danny Jones is a winning coach on The Voice Kids, Tom has ruled out following in their footsteps.
He added: “The thing everyone has in common is me – I’m their lucky charm.
“I feel there would be so much pressure on me to win, but also don’t think I’m cut out for it. I’d crack in the first week.”
Those campfire sing-a-longs would be brilliant though.
Davina the honey bunny
Davina McCall has revealed she finally feels confident enough to talk about sex thanks to the likes of Lily Allen and influencer Honey Ross.
The telly favourite opened up about singer Lily’s new sex toy on her podcast Making The Cut.
She said: “There’s this type of vibrator that Lily Allen has teamed up with called The Womaniser, it’s a new kind and is revolutionising sex toys for women.
“It’s a new way of stimulating, which is extremely effective and really a game changer.”
Honey Ross happens to be the youngest daughter of her The Masked Singer co-star, Jonathan, and Davina went on: “What I love about all of these women who are out there, including Honey Ross, they are there just talking about things that previously were so embarrassing and shaming to talk about and they’re just getting it out in the open.
“They are liberating me.
"I’m sure they’re not supposed to be liberating me because I’m supposed to be flipping liberated by now, but they are liberating my girls and they are also liberating me.
“As a 53-year-old woman to not be embarrassed about this stuff is great because why should we not have pleasure like men?”
Good point, Davs…
CONGRATS to James ‘Arg’ Argent who has managed to stay off booze and drugs for a year.
The Towie regular has turned his life around after bingeing on cocaine in 2019.
He took to Instagram to celebrate the achievement, posting: “1 year clean and sober, a huge milestone I’m extremely proud of.”
Keep it up, Arg . . .
Is that a mino-skirt?
KYLIE MINOGUE kicked off the new year with this leg bomb of a dress as she confirmed a musical based on her songs is finally making progress.
But the singer – who we named our 2020 Biz Ultimate Heroine last week for her five No 1 albums in five decades – is getting itchy feet about the process.
Kylie said: “When I got locked into doing a musical everyone said, ‘It takes a long time’.
“I remember thinking ‘Really? We make albums, go on tour, get things done’… No, it takes forever.
“It’s a work in progress.”
Roll on the theatres re-opening.
Ed’s Caitlyn debt
EDDIE Izzard has praised Caitlyn Jenner for the former Olympian’s role in battling transphobia.
The comedian, who came out trans aged 23 in 1985, said on the RunPod podcast: “It was toxic back in ’85. It was toxic in the Nineties.
“Being transgender was never cool. The tipping point was when a number of things happened in America – from Vanity Fair for Caitlyn Jenner to (trans actress) Laverne Cox getting Woman of the Year (from Glamour magazine).
America is such an engine. When things happen there, it pushes it out around the world. It’s made it easier for me.”
We’re glad to hear it.
ITV cabin for Clara
CLARA Amfo is channel hopping from the Beeb to ITV for her first big telly presenting role since taking part in Strictly Come Dancing.
The Radio 1 Live Lounge host will front Out Of The Woods, a spin-off from new ITV2 dating series The Cabins.
She’ll host alongside David Potts, the Ibiza Weekender holiday rep-turned-reality star.
Clara, who was fifth to leave the latest series of Strictly, said of her new gig: “Human connection will never not be fascinating to me and millions of others. As a nation, we’re obsessed with seeing how people fall in and out of love, and everything in between.
“With the hilarious David by my side, I can’t wait to catch up with our cabin crew to delve deeper into what went down inside those beautifully furnished walls.”
The Cabins, which starts on Monday, is being touted as a “winter Love Island”, with romance-seekers having 24 hours in a cosy lodge to couple up or check out.
Clara and David’s task will be to grill those who leave and find out if their flings go the distance.
David, who appeared on Celebs Go Dating, added: “To be doing something different like co-presenting is amazing.”
Elton’s gig idea
HE keeps threatening to retire from performing but Elton John has let slip it’s his hits he really wants to pension off.
Elton was halfway through what was meant to be his last-ever world tour when Covid hit.
Now he’s got ideas for a gig that will definitely be his last, so he says.
Elton told Record Collector magazine: “I’m lucky to have so many great songs but there is a point where you think: ‘I don’t want to play this Crocodile Rock again’.
“There are things like Original Sin or Gotta Get A Meal Ticket that I haven’t played enough.
“I’d like to do a show like Kate Bush where I can play some of these deep cuts.”
Sinitta the masked singer
SINITTA takes no chances while she jet-skis in Barbados.
The singer, who is spending time with pal Simon Cowell, stays Covid-vigilant and wears a mask.
Taking a dip in her PPE would have proved a challenge for Sinitta, who looked impressive in a two-piece swimsuit.
Maybe her bathing look was inspired by TV’s The Masked Singer.
A brief break, Lewis?
LEWIS Capaldi has decided to treat himself to an undies upgrade.
And the Scot can well afford branded pants after his debut album. Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent was 2020’s biggest-selling album.
He told the On With Mario Lopez podcast: “I’ve been a boxer man for years but this year I’m going to be 25, so I’m going to graduate from a boxer to a brief.
“I want my budgie to be smuggled – get the goodies on show. I like a Calvin Klein brief.”
But the chance of Lewis following Liam Payne, whose Hugo Boss undies ads brought a tear to our eyes, is, erm, sadly tiny. He added: “Trust me, I don’t need the support.”
Keep packing with your songs instead, Lewis.
Miley's just pan-tastic
DAYS after Kourtney Kardashian posted about being “autosexual” – turned on by herself – Miley Cyrus is blowing her own trumpet too.
The singer, who says she is pansexual, or attracted to a person regardless of their gender, admits to being an egocentric lover.
She said: “Sex is really about me – everything’s about me in my mind. People think of me as a hypersexual being.
“Lingerie is for me. I want to look down and see me in my thing that makes me feel hot.”
That doesn’t necessarily mean something skimpy, despite her usual lack of clothing. Miley added: “I have some Chanel underwear that is kind of granny but I’m obsessed with it. I wear it for me.
“When I’m not busy my sex drive is totally different. If I’m hungry I’m definitely not horny. I’m obsessed with me – I really am.”
We never would have guessed.
Perfect plot at Emma and Matt's
EMMA and Matt Willis are splashing out on a garden makeover at their £1.7million Hertfordshire mansion.
The Voice presenter and Busted singer have lodged plans to add an outdoor swimming pool, sunken trampoline and oak swing.
Paperwork reveals the pair have also asked to build a 6ft-high earth mound at the end of the garden. Planners have already backed plans to turn their garage into a home gym.
