Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay slams haters who say reality star is 'not focused' on newborn Summer Moon

VANDERPUMP Rules star Scheana Shay slammed haters who say the reality star is "not focused" on her newborn Summer Moon.

The 35-year-old welcomed her first child with boyfriend Brock Davies on April 26.

Shortly after welcoming her daughter, Scheana stood up for herself when trolls slammed her in her DMs.

On Wednesday, the Vanderpump Rules star posted a video on her YouTube channel that showed her prepping for the birth of Summer.

Scheana took to her Instagram Story on Thursday to share a DM she received from a fan that said the Bravo star was too "worried" about the video and "not focused" on her newborn.

The troll wrote: "Omg FOCUS ON YOUR PREECLAMPSIA!!! Seriously you want to preach and talk about it but still freaking worried about your blog?? Girl we have other in vitro mommies and you're being so inconsiderate. We all stood by you so maybe you need to stand by us. SO SELFISH."

Scheana, who revealed her preeclampsia diagnosis on Wednesday, wrote in response: "First off, I AM only focused on mine and Summer's health right now.

"She's doing just fine, and I'm improving each day here. I'm not 'worried' about my vlog. I already shot this and post every week, and it has some great CPR training for people.

"How about you watch over the next 3 weeks as I navigate thru having HELLP syndrome at the hospital."

The Bravo star concluded: "Hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows. Thank you!"

The new mother also shared an adorable photo of her cuddling Summer, which she captioned: "My everything."

While announcing the news that the couple welcomed Summer, Scheana also revealed the scary health concerns she experienced just before she went into labor.

She wrote in a personal Instagram post: "Almost 24 hours after being induced, my blood pressure was extremely elevated.

"I was diagnosed with preeclampsia, which has now turned into HELLP syndrome.

"My doctor said I was lucky, and we caught this just in time to treat as it’s very unusual to be caught so late, in postpartum."

The serious complication – which stands for – Hemolysis, Elevated liver enzymes and Low Platelet Count – is caused by "high blood pressure during pregnancy," according to Preeclampsia Foundation.

The TV personality continued: "Until this morning I was on a magnesium drip that made me extremely lethargic and flu-like, shivering uncontrollably to the point where I felt like I was seizing.

"Having not caught this condition in time, that would have been likely. I am still being monitored closely for elevated liver enzymes and low blood platelets and not sure how much longer we will be here."

Scheana and Brock began dating in November 2019, while the Vanderpump Rules fan-favorite announced her pregnancy in October.

The pregnancy announcement came just three months after she tragically suffered a miscarriage.

News of her birth comes after another Bravo couple, Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor, welcomed their first child, a son named Cruz, earlier this month.
