Hollyoaks fans were shocked last week when the soap seemingly killed off Tony Hutchinson (Nick Packard) after 24 years on the Channel 4 show.
The longest standing character on Hollyoaks, Tony was stabbed by Breda McQueen (Moya Brady) last week as she continues her rampage around Chester, cleansing the area of men whom she deems to be bad fathers.
‘You really were one of the good ones,’ she whispered after stabbing him because he’d found out her murderous secret.
With Tony’s life quite literally flashing before his eyes at the end of the episode, fans were left unable to believe Tony had really departed the show and were convinced there is a death twist storyline coming up.
Could the fans be right or is Tony really dead?
Where is Tony Hutchinson in Hollyoaks and is he still alive?
There’s good news and there’s bad news for Hollyoaks and Tony Hutchinson fans.
The good news is the fan theories were correct and despite being stabbed in the stomach, Tony is indeed still alive – just.
However, the bad news is that the father-of-one is currently in a bad way at Stone Mount Farm and being held captive by Breda.
Despite Tony’s miracle survival, things still don’t look good for him as he remains trapped in the same place Breda bludgeoned Louis Loveday (Karl Collins) to death.
The serial killer’s victim list is far from short, as she’s already killed Russ Owen (Stuart Manning), Carl Costello (Bob Cryer) and Mac Nightingale (David Easter) as well as Louis.
Viewers will have to wait to see what happens to Tony and what his fate at Breda’s hands will be in the coming episodes.
Hollyoaks airs weekdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
