CELEBRITY Best Home Cook is back on our TVs, and so is the familiar voice that narrates the show.

Comedian Tom Parry narrated the last season of the cooking competition, and is now lending his voice to the celebrity version.

Who is Celebrity Best Home Cook narrator Tom Parry?

Tom Parry, 40, is a comedian.

Originally from Wolverhampton, he is one member of a three-man sketch team called Pappy's.

Alongside Ben Clark and Matthew Crosby, Tom has performed sketch shows at Edinburgh Fringe festival.

The group were named best sketch, variety or character act in the 2008 Chortle awards and were also nominated for Best Show by the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2007 and 2012.

Tom Parry went solo for his debut show ‘Yellow T-shirt’ at the 2015 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

What else has Tom Parry starred in?

Tom Parry's Edinburgh show was picked up by BBC, and as a result he was given his own show, Tom Parry's Fancy Dressed Life on BBC Radio 4.

The comedian also starred as a security guard on BBC Two’s Watson and Oliver.

 Alongside his TV and sketch work, Tom co-hosts Pappy’s Flatshare Podcast with his troupe-mates.

The podcast is a gameshow style format, recorded in front of a live audience and each week Pappy's welcome guests onto the show.

Nish Kumar,  Dara O Briain, Sophie Duker and Sara Pascoe have all featured on the hit podcast.

Parry has also worked as a writer on ITV's sitcom The Job Lot and BBC 3's Great Movie Mistakes.

Is he married and does he have kids?

Tom Parry keeps his private life under wraps.

But in an interview in 2019, he revealed: "I just got flippin married!!!"

It is not known if he has any children.
