A former US Air Force Captain has started fundraising to host a new press conference to be more transparent with the public about 'nukes and UFO activity in the states.
Captain Bob Salas, who served at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana in 1967 when a UFO briefly hovered over his Launch Control Capsule, has started raising money via GoFundMe to hold a press conference in Washington DC similar to one held in 2010.
According to UFO Chronicles, the veteran wants to bring more light to the public about UFO activity around the sites of nuclear weapons in the United States.
Former US Senator Harry Reid has already revealed in a previous documentary that UFO’s have been repeatedly reported to appear near the vicinity of US Nuclear sites when interviewed in a documentary titled The Phenomenon.
Now, Salas is claiming there is more to be exposed as his campaign page reads: "It is time for the U.S. Congress to hold public hearings on the Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAP).
"There are many ex-military witnesses who can verify UFO incidents of nuclear weapons bases. All funds from this fundraiser will be used to support a press conference and lobbying activities in Washington DC with some of these witnesses in the coming months.
"The current period in time represents a unique opportunity to promote open and public disclosure of long-held secrets by government agencies. Any amount would be appreciated. Thank you."
The campaign has already raised over $5,000 from people all across the world who are hoping to gain a greater understanding of what life exists beyond Earth.

One person who donated said: "I had first heard about UFO incursions on nuclear weapon sites from a Physics Professor at Montana State University when I was a graduate student in 1988.
"The whole thing sounded ridiculous to me then. But it was the 2010 National Press Club conference that I saw on YouTube in 2016, which convinced me that this was REAL and IMPORTANT and that I needed to do something about it.
"This is one way I hope that I can give back! This is a global issue, and quite possibly one of the most important issues facing humanity."

Another added: "My father was a witness to a UFO interfering with the United States nuclear arsenal and he would have liked to have heard what our government knows about who or what was behind it."
A third said: "I donated because Robert Salas' work in this field is based on his direct experience while assigned to one of the most sensitive assignments in the military – operating an ICBM Missile Site.
"Serious students of the UFO Mystery know that wherever you have anything nuclear you will hear about UFO experiences that involve high credibility witnesses and high strangeness.
"If this Mystery can be solved sooner rather than later, the answers will lie somewhere in the place where UFOs and the Nuclear Field meet."
