Ex health secretary Matt Hancock has swept former advisor Gina Coladangelo off for a romantic summer holiday in Switzerland.
The pair's £87-per-night hideaway deep in the Swiss Alps is said to be their first romantic getaway after their dalliance came to light earlier this year, Daily Express reports.
Mr Hancock, who resigned due to his flagrant breach of Covid rules, was filmed kissing government millionaire lobbyist Gina Coladangelo at the Department of Health's London HQ in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
The trip comes just days after Switzerland was added to the UK's green list for travel.
Mr Hancock, 42, and Ms Coladangelo, 44, are said to have travelled to the resort from the UK by car.
The two-star lodge they are staying in sits on a sunny south-facing terrace high above the Rhone valley and is close to the stunning Lake Geneva and overlooked by snow-capped peaks.
It is reported that Mr Hancock is also using the holiday for some last-minute altitude training ahead of the London Marathon, which he is running for the first time on October 3 in aid of a hospice.
The Express adds that on the first night of their Alpine break they went out for dinner with friends.
Ms Coladangelo wore a dark blue dress, denim jacket and sandals while Mr Hancock donned a blue baseball cap, white shirt, chinos and trainers.

On Wednesday morning, Mr Hancock was spotted in the car park and entrance road before placing bags into the boot of his vehicle.
Dressed in the same baseball cap, sunglasses and a face mask, with a white striped shirt over the top of a white T-shirt he nervously scouted vehicles in the car park before Ms Coladangelo approached the car separately and placed items in the boot. She was wearing the same denim top, sunglasses and a white V-neck blouse.
Ms Coladangelo's children are being looked after by a live-in nanny at the £4.5 million South London home she used to share with husband Oliver Tress, founder of fashion and lifestyle store Oliver Bonas while they are away.

Photos published in The Sun which were reportedly taken on May 6 – when England's law banned indoor social gatherings of people from different households, and guidance urged people to stay two metres apart and avoid "face to face contact" – caught the MP kissing non-executive director Ms Coladangelo.
A CCTV clip of the incident also showed Mr Hancock checking the coast was clear through the door of his office before canoodling with the millionaire aide.
The pair are then seen kissing passionately after Gina walks towards him.
Hancock also moves his hand to her bottom and in other moments moves both hands onto her back to draw her in closer.

He said: "The last thing I would want is for my private life to distract attention from the single-minded focus that is leading us out of this crisis.
"I want to reiterate my apology for breaking the guidance, and apologise to my family and loved ones for putting them through this. I also need be with my children at this time."
