CARDI B has hit out at Melania Trump after a controversial tweet comparing the two.
Author DeAnna Lorraine tweeted America could do with "more women" like Melania, and "less like" Cardi.
It comes after the First Lady spoke at the Republican National Convention.
She praised President Trump as she spoke from the Rose Garden at the White House during her headlining speech, prompting a barrage of comments on social media.
Ms Lorraine wrote, a self-help relationships author, wrote: "America needs far more women like Melania Trump and far less like Cardi B."
The rapper replied: "Didn’t she used to sell that Wap?," referring to her recent song, WAP – standing for Wet A** P***y.
The tune, in collaboration Megan Thee Stallion has been criticized for it's explicitly sexual lyrics.
Cardi B, real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, followed up the tweet half an hour later with a picture of Melania in her modelling days with the comment: "This pic giving me 'yea you f*****n wit some wet a** p***y' vibes …just saying".
In the sexy snap, Melania is nude with her breasts covered by Cardi with two emojis.
The Twitter row comes after controversy surrounding the new song, with Bodak Yellow rapper insisting the song is "for adults," adding: "The people that the song bothers are usually conservatives or really religious, fake religious people."
And ahead of the November election, the rapper has been making her voice heard in politics.
She recently held a videochat with Bernie Sanders after dropping out of the Democratic presidential race.
The former presidential candidate live-streamed the one-on-one conversation with the 27-year-old rapper on his YouTube channel Tuesday night.
Sanders and Cardi B got together to discuss the economic and health crises caused by COVID-19 and the "priorities of young voters during this complex time."
She has also been vocal in offering up criticism of Republican voters of late.
And following Melania's Rose Garden speech she was accused of not being able to "speak English" by Bette Midler.
Midler was blasted on social media after her Twitter rant as Melania praised her husband Donald as a "man of action" who is "humbled" by his fans in her unvetted speech.
"#beBest is back! A UGE bore!," Midler tweeted, referring to Melania by her public awareness campaign's name.
"She can speak several words in a few languages. Get that illegal alien off the stage!" Midler added.
Midler then took more hits at Melania's Slovenian roots.
"Oh, God. She still can’t speak English," Midler tweeted.
Following her Twitter rant, Midler was branded a "racist" and was blasted herself on social media, before admitting she was "wrong" to make the comments.
