Mum's heartache at having to tell daughter her dad is dead after he was found lifeless with 2 others in Oldham home

A DISTRAUGHT mum has revealed her agony at telling her daughter her dad has died after he was found lifeless with two others.

James Acton, 41, was discovered alongside Zoe Hamilton, 28, and Andrew Smith, 39, at a house in Oldham on Monday.

Their deaths are being treated as unexplained and a post-mortem was inconclusive with toxicology tests now being carried out.

James' devastated partner Janine Brannick has now spoken of her heartache at having to tell their daughter he had tragically passed away.

She wrote on Facebook: "Today is going to be the hardest thing I would have to do in my life I have to tell my baby girl her dad is dead my head f***ed".

Heartbroken pals have also paid tribute to the dad.

One wrote: "So sad R.I.P James Acton. Thinking of Janine and your two girls at this sad time ."

Another said: "R.I.P to a big alty fan and deffo a legend gonna miss you James Acton I really can’t believe it sleep tight mate!!!"

Tributes have also flooded in for Zoe after the triple tragedy on Monday.

Her sister T'anna posted touching photos of the mum, who announced she was in a new relationship just three months ago.

She wrote: "I love you sis. Shine bright with mummy, please keep my space warm.

"Can’t even describe the pain what the hell why just why!

"We were so proud of you, six months clean of drugs. You were doing mum so proud and all the rest of us & the boys!

"You've been through so much in your life and you were so strong just like mum was!

"You came back and tried to bounce back and you did!

"I am in so much shock honestly words don’t even compare!

"God is just taking the closest people away from me and it’s not fair."

T'anna also revealed Zoe's death is the second tragedy to hit the family this year after their mum passed away.

She said: "Zoe I love you so much. Now you're with mum and watching over your boys. I promise when they come home I’ll look after them all like my own."

Meanwhile an old friend of Zoe's said she was "gutted" by the news.

"Can’t believe I’m even having to write this rest in peace ZoZo.

"I can’t believe you’ve gone they say he only takes the best early.

"I’m going to miss you so much, I can’t believe it I don’t wanna believe it.

"Going to miss that big hair you spent so much time on. It always did look great – that’s the scouse in you!

"And that smile, you always smiled no matter what. You were one of the strongest women I know and you always gave the soundest advice

"I can’t believe I’m never going to see you again. I’m gutted.

"Rest in peace babe. You're with your mama now and you're at rest. I love you forever chacha!"

While another wrote: "Rest in peace Zoe Leigh Hamilton , taken too soon of the funniest, kindest girl I know…you were doing so well too angel…love and love always, never forget you so."

Emergency crews were scrambled to the home at around 3.30pm following a concern for welfare.

Zoe, James and Andrew were tragically declared dead at the scene with police launching an investigation.

They said a post mortem failed to establish a cause of death.

A statement from Greater Manchester Police said: "Samples have been submitted for toxicology assessment and we await those results."

Detectives aren't looking to speak to anyone in connection with the horror and no arrests have been made.

It is understood the force has referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) due to previous police contact.
