Six people were injured – one critically – in two separate Brooklyn shootings just hours apart on Monday night, police said.
Three men were struck in the first shooting at about 6:50 p.m. at a cookout outside NYCHA’s Pink Houses on Hemlock Street and Stanley Avenue in East New York, cops said.
A 42-year-old victim shot in the neck and head was rushed to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition, police said.
Another man, 34, was shot in the arm while sitting in a car near the scene, cops said. He drove off before being pulled over a few blocks away near Linden Boulevard and Eldert Lane.
He was taken in stable condition to Brookdale Hospital — where a third victim, 46, walked in with a gunshot wound to his torso, according to police.
A handgun was recovered near the scene, police sources said.
Three teenagers were shot just before 9 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Playground in Bedford-Stuyvesant, cops said.
One of the victims, a 19-year-old man, was shot in the shoulder and walked a block away to Interfaith Medical Center.
Another 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were both shot in their right leg and taken to Kings County Hospital, cops said.
All three teens are expected to survive.
Police are looking for two male suspects — one wearing all black and one with a white hooded sweater – in connection to the second shooting.
