A pervert forced himself on four young women, mostly teenagers, in separate incidents throughout the Bronx, becoming increasingly violent with each attack, police said Wednesday.
The creep first struck around 1 p.m. on March 24, near Hatting Place and Pennyfield Avenue in Throggs Neck, where he approached a 16-year-old girl and tried to grab her backside before rushing off, police said.
Nearly two months later, he targeted his second victim just shy of two miles away on Logan Avenue and Barkley Avenue.
There, around 10:20 p.m. on May 20, he walked up to the 15-year-old girl and groped her buttocks and breasts before fleeing, cops said.
Just about a month later, on June 22 at 10:15 p.m., he approached a different 16-year-old girl near Philip Avenue and Cross Bronx Expressway and punched her in the face before grabbing her breasts and backside, police said. Again, he fled.
The suspect struck most recently around 12:30 a.m. on July 3 in the area of Edison Avenue and Barkley Avenue, where he sauntered up to a 22-year-old woman, placed his hands around her neck and tried dragging her into his vehicle, cops said. He fled after he was unsuccessful.
Cops provided a sketch of the man, who they described as being a Hispanic man, approximately 25-35 years old and 5-foot-10 to 6-feet-tall weighing about 160 pounds.
