A terrifying video shows the moment a school bus is consumed by fire after its engine apparently went ablaze during the middle of the school run.
In the video, recorded in Culross, Fife, giant streaks of fire are billowing out the back of the bus which is charred and blackened from the heat.
The White First Bus vehicle was surrounded by thick smoke as firefighters tackled the fire, which began at 8.14 am on Wednesday (June 2).
Luckily, the 15 children onboard were evacuated by the driver, The Daily Record reports.
Fife Council confirmed all 15 kids affected are now "safe and well" at school.
A First Bus spokesman confirmed that the fire was on a school bus.
David Phillips, Operations Director for First Midland. "I can confirm that one of our vehicles was involved in a thermal incident today entering Culross on Low Causewayside.
"We have emergency procedures and training in place for this sort of incident.
"Passenger safety is at the forefront of everything we do, and our driver must be commended for his prompt action that prevented any injuries whatsoever with all passengers being swiftly and safely evacuated.

"The emergency services were alerted immediately, and a full internal investigation is now underway to establish the root cause of the incident.
"This incident has been reported to the DVSA."
Shelagh McLean, Head of Education and Children's Services at Fife Council said: "I can confirm there was a fire on one of our school buses travelling to Dunfermline High School this morning.
"Fifteen children were on board, and all were evacuated safely.

"No one was injured. They've been taken to school by another bus and have arrived safe and well".
Earlier today, a spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service told the title: "I can confirm we are currently in attendance and that we received the call at 8.14am to reports a passenger coach is alight.
"We have two pumps currently in attendance and they are continuing to dampen down.
"All passengers and drivers were evacuated before the fire."
